Has he anything left in the tank ? WSG ridden by the impressive threeputt has been tracking the leaders throughout, has burst through to the front and pulled away to create a commanding lead, taking the rest of the field by surprise. At that pace he is going to take a lot of stopping. 2nd to 5th are nicely grouped together, MT on NCCL and Camkite on LION are still bringing up the rear in 9th and 10th place as they have from the off.
OMG so it is....sorry guys getting ahead of myself..it's a bloody Marathon !
I think there could be a Stewards enquiry at the end of the race, with a delayed results update. the jockey on TYM could well be in the boozer having a swift noggin or two ;)
If she ever reads this i'm dead ! ;(
Lol BalionB..as they say it's not over till the fat Lady sings ! and mine is still upstairs snoring ;)
Mind you last 24hrs all crypyo's have dipped around 25% Interesting Holmes ???
Hope so not just a flatter to deceive, Yep the world has gone Crypto mad. Remember last week an USA cigar company says it's winding down its Cigars and going into Crypto, on the night it had gone up 2500% ! don't know what it finished at I went to bed. :)
2017 AIM SPIKE CUP The sprint to the finishing line hots up !
Ah thank you nogog, didn't see your post till after i posted. I take my prices of the LSE site, as Google can be a little misleading using the last trade as the sp.

The all time front runner VAL is beginning to come under pressure, has he the legs to hold off the fast improving ARS ridden by nogog who has pushed up to second place. The consistent Filtertips on STAR remains tucked in on third place. With threeputt on WSG slipping back to fourth place. After an mid furlong surge Camkite on LION was showing improved form, but soon slipped back again, has he shot his bolt ? and nothing left in the tank. Should be an exciting final half furlong !

Holding great form is balman on VAL he has been leading the pack from the off, and has increased his lead as we sweep around Rampers bend with the finishing line now in sight with only a furlong and a half to go. Moving nicely through the field from seventh to fourth and now in second place, is a somewhat dark horse WSG ridden by that frustrating golfer threeput. Can he haul pace setter back. Only a head behind in third is the consistant STAR ridden by the wiley old smoker himself filtertips, who has been in the top three throughout. Tailing off at the rear of the field, the one time favourite Camkite on LION or should it be renamed Kitten. But as we all know nothing can be taken for granted until you cash out at the finishing line.
It's not that i'm attached, I think it's a good thing. When Icewine2 fever kicks in it will be back in the 4's i reckon.
I hope not ! need him to rally up strongly as i sold a chunk of 88e (which is moving up nicely) to get on board. Would like LION to hit 6+ so i can sell and get back in 88

Making a strong move is shoestring on HNR travelling nicely up through the field from eighth to second place. Meanwhile BB hit a treacle patch and slipped back down the order. Filtertips on STAR is looking very consistent tucked in nicely behind the leading duo, and could be biding his time until the sprint finish. Bringing up the rear still is Camkite aboard LION who seems to have shook off his slow start and made up valuable ground to close the gap on the other runners.
Morning all, here's to a nice blue day for us all. BB

She's setting a blistering pace, but has she gone to early with three and a half furlongs still to go. Old boy Filtertips, is an interesting bred colt coming from the Woodbine stable, has moved nicely into second place tracking the leader. BB on TYM has crept through the field to take third place. Not to sure what's happened to champion jockey Camkite aboard the volatile Lion, he's either a few lbs overweight due to early mince pie consumption, or a saddle slip. Although trailing the pack by some distance at this stage, he's not to be ruled out as the wiley old Jockey is known for pulling it out of the bag !
Lol
HNR it is shoestring
