Peter - where on that article does it mention Omega?
We have applied and waiting for approvals.
We've not sold any tests to airlines for home use until them approvals are granted.
Thanks for your concern though Peter, the spaz.
I actually agree with TW for once. His personal pump failed now he’s backfiring. This BB is comedy gold, don’t need to watch only fools and horses tonight.
27 lots of 121,500 = 3,280,500 Visitect C19 Antigen Cassette Tops ...
Fair enough, my apologies.
Sledgey, you've stole that from someone in the ODX telegram group.
Don't know why you had to twist it to make it your own. Strange.
Thinkin - why don't you do some thinkin before you write utter rubbish. "lack of orders" are due to us not having any approvals ffs.
Get these approvals granted and orders will swiftly follow.
Personally think this was the government’s plan the whole time. They knew during this fall and winter to come cases were going to rise, and they are substantially. The need for cheaper, accurate and British made tests is all over the press. We are primed and ready. Let’s get them approvals granted and the worlds our oyster.
SP has been frustrating to watch over the last few months for us all, but really looking forward to the next few weeks and months to come. Up the Omega!
TWATcher just likes to fit his own agenda. Absolute screwloose.
It hit 60p a few weeks ago you melt.
TW - you do some great research on looking at previous post history. Well done, you deserve another medal.
I do have a 2021 Audi RS6 on my drive though so all is well ;-)
He waffles sooooo much. Literally no need.
He must think if he writes paragraph after paragraph that people will listen. No one cares TW.
Just a reminder that the £374m contract with DHSC is still on the table.
From the award note itself:
Phase 1 (pre production phase)
1. Manufacture pre production and test samples for lateral flow tests - TICK
2. Scale up its production capacity - TICK
3. Obtain all necessary product authorisations for the lateral flow tests - (Approval pending)
Phase 2
1. Manufacture and supply of the lateral flow tests.
Clearly written in black and white that soon as we get approvals, we will supplying the government with LFTs.
If it’s comes this week, next or the weeks thereafter, it doesn’t really matter. Just ignore the noise and hold onto your shares.
Which* not wish.
We need approvals before anything else. This is why I’m thinking it’s taking so long and discussions are still “ongoing” because approvals have not been granted.
However, once approvals do land I honestly think we are going to be turning away orders from private companies just so we can fulfil HMG orders. May be a little far fetched but that’s what I’m thinking. Our 2m capacity just won’t be enough for demand.
Anyway, looks like it’s all coming together. LFTs are going to be here for a long time to come, wish is £££ for Omega.
GLA. Enjoy the sunshine & Have a good weekend.
Embarrassing reading some of the comments on this BB today. Nothing has changed.
What were you expecting at an AGM? It’s basically just an update to shareholders on the day to day running of the business. Nothing more nothing less.
Have some patience. We must be extremely close to approval for self use, if the minister at the DHSC name checked us via a tweet. It will all come together in due course, Omega are clearly working hard behind the scenes but cannot disclose information as of yet.
We have the best test on the market, of course it’s going to sell.
Probably because we do not know if the 92m tests are part of the ODX stockpile! I’m sure we will find out soon enough!
Anyone got any spare dosh they can lend me to Top up? As Ian Beale once said "I've got nothing left!"
GLA
Scott - its already significantly increased within the last 12 months, up to 2million a week. Do some research.
Does Avacta have a similar capacity to ours? (2m a week)
Up nearly 30% since monday morning and Colin's not released a speeding ticket... something big is brewing.
