Similar issue, i use Charles Stanley as a broker , due to the de-listing from AIM i was unable to sell
Then Charles Stanley moved my stock to the ASX listing , so i am now incurring currency charges on my isa account
Also can not sell via online dealing so will need to place a phone trade with absurd fees (Overseas dealing charges are charged at a percentage of the transaction + movement charges. The movement charges associated with the Australian exchange are £50. The further trading costs are 1.25% of the value of the trade for the first £10,000 of consideration, with a minimum trading fee of £75)
As such, the minimum dealing charge for an Australian exchange holding is £125 )
I have asked them to move back to the new TML AIM listing , and this was the reply i got
As for Interactive Investor I can see they do indeed offer both the London Stock Exchange listing and the Australian Exchange listing for purchase on their platform. In a similar vein, we can also offer both stock lines for purchase.
However, because no link exists between the LSE listing (SEDOL code BL59CT1) and the Australian Exchange listing (SEDOL code BNKCJC1) these can not be directly converted.
This link is not something individual investment platforms create, it is instead created by CREST, the central securities deposit for UK stock. As such, if Interactive Investor have been able to directly convert between stock lines I am unable to comment on how they achieved this.
Can any one enlighten how i can get my stock back on AIM ?
It appears that testing is changing, Just been emailed this from my sons school , is this good news ?
Dear Parent / Carer
I am writing to you on behalf of the Department for Education’s Rapid Testing Team to give you some background on the Daily Contact Testing trial which is due to start at MRC
All participating schools and colleges across England have been randomised into 2 groups: An Intervention Group and a Control Group. The Control Group will quarantine contacts of positive cases in-line with current
national guidance whilst the Intervention Group will allow Daily Contact Testing (DCT), enabling students to attend school/college for each day their Antigen Lateral Flow Device (LFD) rapid test shows a negative result.
MRC has been allocated into the Intervention Group. Therefore, the following procedure would be implemented should your child test positive.
We will offer anyone who is a close contact of your child the opportunity to continue to go to school/college for the subsequent days, assuming they do not test positive using their Lateral Flow Device (LFD) tests.
All staff and children in contact with your child will be offered a PCR (‘Polymerase Chain Reaction’) test on days 2 and 7 following your child’s positive LFD test. In the event of testing positive, your child will also receive a PCR test on day 1. Should any contacts of your child test positive from their LFD test, they will need to isolate for 10 days as per Government guidelines.
Students in the trial that are a close contact of a positive case will be able to choose to take a rapid test each morning and, if it is negative, continue to attend school or college. They would have to continue to self-isolate at home in the evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The trial is being co-ordinated and managed by the Department of Health and Social Care, Department for Education, Office of National Statistics, and ethics cleared by Public Health England. It will also be independently evaluated and overseen by an independent data monitoring committee and a trial steering group.
Received email from School today
You will be aware that all staff have been taking Covid-19 Lateral Flow Tests twice weekly since the end of January, to help towards preventing further spread of infection of Covid-19. As of Monday 1 March, households with primary school, secondary school and college age children, including childcare and support bubbles, now have the option of ordering tests to test themselves twice weekly at home. This is to support schools as they return from Monday 8 March and to support the spread of infection of those who may be asymptomatic.
Please click on the link below, if you wish to order Lateral Flow Tests for your family living in the same household.
