Good find Lsoc .thanks for sharing the info.
Assume it is related to where the share price is expected to be in the short term. Odds are they are probably right. But unlike private investors They can be happy with a 5% return.
Once supply side issues in the wider sector are sorted and Ukraine is sorted … we will be onto a winner ! The future is electric vehicles and the owner has plenty of skin in the game .. always a good sign ! .. (Just my view though and what I tell myself to resist hitting Sell !) ..
Give it three months and they will close out their positions . They will then be buying more shares to ride the wave upwards …when that one comes !
Yes.. be careful of what you read on this board but ….please view my chart lol ! Sure a lot of people would be lost without it !
(financial models say technical analysis doesn’t work but I am sure your chart/ Charting is the exception Lol )
Is it because people have really short time frames within which they were hoping to get a good return ?
Has the company made any announcement that it is in trouble ? Has it said it expects to be in trouble in the medium term or long term ?
Is Holding shares in this company a smart decision ? In my view that question will be answered way off in the future. That will depend on the long term success of the company, its technology, cash flow and management.
The share price at the end of the week or month doesn’t matter. It only matters to people who are looking to sell before then !
Anyone who has a share like this and is worried or concerned with a weekly 30 % drop should not have bought it in the first place.
No one likes to see the prices go down but it is purely psychological .. On a share like this the only decision is .. will EQTEC have cash flow problems … will it find customers… (and I don’t mean before the end of the month !)

Nor mine (lol !)
Why would anyone sell this … it keeps going up ! And the fundamentals appear to continue to be improving.
To those shareholders who have had this more than a year or so….. I can only imagine how happy you must be . Well deserved !
(When Audioboom gets bought out can you let me know what company shares you are going to buy next …please ! ..)
Warren Buffett says “most people sell their winners too early and are too slow cutting their losses !”
Easier said than done though…. ( I know this because I have made that mistake a few times this year) . But won’t be making that mistake with Audioboom will hold my nerve
GLA .
thanks crawshaw for posting details.

If it does… it will then bounce back - in my view.( ‘ a rising tide raises all boats’)
happy to wait months to get decent return or couple of years to get a multiple times return on my investment. (Be good if it happened sooner though !)
Although a 50% return on the ftse 100 over the last few years would have been nice (the rewards for going against the tide ! )
GLA
Yes you are right. Happens with loads of companies.
I wonder if it is about not putting all of their eggs in the one baskets.
the time period for this share is not three weeks or three months it is nearer to three years.
long term the technology either works or it doesnt. enough customers will be found or they wont. that is all that matters not the daily price fluctuations or year end price.
i am also of the view that is usually those that dont have the patience for this type of investment, or regret not buying more, or bought more than they can afford to lose are they ones that frequently post and allude to a noticeable price drop in the short term... makes reading bulletin boards amusing I suppose !
you would like other investors to know this share is not going up or down for some time. mostly down...
1-is that information not on share price chart? yes ! very clear for all to see.
2-i assume most people that have this share have not bought it because they are hoping for a 10% return in a given time period they are hoping for big return so the fact the price has hardly changed or even gone down is to expected...(it is your exaggerated comment or reference to 'critical' that I am calling out.
no one said it was not going to happen ...shares do stay within the same trading or drop ... it is not supposed to be easy... takes patience... and bit of luck along the way !
but if a small drop makes you nervous.. sell up and buy a tracker or ftse 100 share.
but the share price trading band has no relevance on whether this company will become a big success.
shares go up and down .... not a big deal ! why the prothesing about the obvious !
oh no... critical support level ! help !
prices are usual driven by news whether that be sector or company specific
...if the share price drops it wont by definition it will be at a different level... yes that is correct.
unsure why you feel the need to state the obvious ! with an air of enormity or doom !
and there is nothing critical if the price drops ...
keep the shares... or the sell the shares but dont be concerned with the what the share price will be in a few days time unless it is driven by company or sector changes
... or buy a tracker that usually goes up gradually. saves you getting worried about things that will definitely happen and posting your fears and stating the obvious on a public board.
this share will go down some days and up others..... but dont get scared !
What a good few day !
By next update in July I think it will be over 10 pounds just above the broker estimate by Allenby done a few months ago.
The 20 pounds, mentioned on other posts, for the eventual sale price is looking increasingly (in my view) likely given the comparison valuation of other podcast sales that have taken place in the previous 6 months - made even better giving the podcast market globally continues to be increasing in popularity. Where is the potential bad news ?? I can’t see any.
(Name a tv presenter and I bet you will find they have their own podcast… …(even Gabby Logan has one !) it is indicative of how profitable and popular podcasts are now) “ a rising tide raises all boats”. Audioboom as we all know is one of the key global players.
Waiting for the sale will be the hardest thing shareholders have to do… growing market …profit on the increase… bring on the £20 …we just need to wait for Mr Candy and Mr Last to do their thing !!! (If we were in either of those gentlemen’s shoes would we take any less ?
I am just eager to get the good news ! (lol))
thanks for the extra (an accurate information)
sure it will be in next trading price band by then
cheers Phil
I think the next quarterly update is next week - which is likely to contain more good news. audioboom shows both new and current have been mentioned in number of recent articles (found under google news). be good to hear how the ad revenues have been going since last update.
Yes now seems to be creeping up. Patience will be rewarded I am sure.
Given price amazon paid to buy Wondery (300 million) and that audioboom have moved ahead of them in the podcast ratings I think good price increases are ahead ! (Audioboom market cap only 100 million)
Good point.
Although he probably knows which way the wind is blowing... hopefully they are getting all their ducks in a row....
maybe get the champagne out and put it on ice when he stops spending his ‘behind the sofa’ money !
If the article causes worry maybe shares in this sector are not for you. Buy a EFT or ftse 100 tracker (although you may end up still worrying about rising inflation)
The FT article It is not even that bad.
As is often the case the devil is in the detail look at the article and the people that are quoted. Does the executive at Total have an agenda/ or potentially a biased view towards the hydrogen sector ... probably ! Of course there are going to people saying valuations are too high (they will be saying that for some time). ...the article quotes one research company that is expressing a view- well no surprise there !
