Apple entering the market. Caused slide in Australian holding co.
And they will complain when the low ball takeover offer is tabled
Redtom I like your analysis - however, if the directors focus on growing market cap rather than the share price PI's will not benefit. I am certainly nervous of a repeat but am holding for now.
Well if they pass the share buy back res. could be the start of share price recovery.
Any news from the AGM? I searched for a link but seems no one was encouraged to attend not even via Zoom or Teams.
Quick response from co:
This is expected to be released over the coming weeks
Kind regards
I have emailed the co:
Dear Sirs,
I am a shareholder in the co. I would be very grateful if you could let me know the date or aprox date of release of interim results.
I note the web site states June although last year it was August.
Many thanks,
Regards
Many thanks Mesquida. Could email company and ask them. But last year this was the date of release:
25 Aug 2020 Preliminary announcement of results for the year ending 31 March 2020
On ii results showing unconfirmed towards end August.
Maybe Simon T will see a silver lining?
Probably no rush to buy.........will prob be opportunities below 5p. I think I will stick and not throw any more at this. Unless maybe they drop to 2p.
I agree. This is appalling, I may pull out. A high div stock......lunacy to raise expensive equity (6% or 10% they say div will never be cut) Us companies can raise debt much cheaper or are the banks rejecting them? Directors want to grow the market cap but this is painful for existing minorities,
The last two RNS’ are positive. Perhaps best to hold on for better times rather than to succumb to the negativity of the chat which may reflect the past rather than the future?
Nomad, hold these long and strong and you should do well.
From today’s Ft......much the same as Times referred to below:
“Savings and investment group M&G rallied after a Bloomberg report stating that rival Schroders had contemplated buying the fund manager. Ray Douglas”
Same as Allied Minds which he also tipped. Might have a long wait on both that and this.
Ft suggested a few weeks back that PE would buy this. In the mean time we get paid to hold :)
You might want to look at Renergen on the JSE and Aus where they are sitting on a massive deposit and contracts to boot on a sub £140;million market cap
Spac, how can you be so sure?
Seems there was a Newlands bounce which has now run its course? Can’t really find why their involvement is viewed as such a positive.
