I'm not advocating BOD change at all, the business has grown brilliantly but there is clear failure in marketing the buisess from an investment point and it feels deliberate. I expect a big announcement soon, but the last one did nothing and we are lower still, so what is the answer? Wait until the "appropriate time"
.. but appropriate for who? I guess I am trying to understand, I have been in the ya ya whoopee BMN are the greatest camp and it did no good? Been here long enough for growg niggles to need some answers now.
I get what is happening, my question is why again and again do we find ourselves here? When does it end, three years ago it was all systems go, patience etc... Pandemic yes but look at the S&P or pretty much any other share for recoveries but not Bushveld. If we are still here in 5 years will everyone still be happy to wait enjoying silence from the Board?
But it is the constant silence that allows these fun and games Sanchez. The market is just not valuing BMN, if the prospect was enticing enough buys would outweigh any sells, but they don't...because so much is unclear, confused or down right opaque. Who can be accountable for that? We can all hope everything is hunky dory but that is just hope unti the company show us something...anything BE...and the trolls and market scum just use this situation for their own game. It's not like we have only had silence for a few weeks, it's been years and as such is intrinsic in the BOD makeup this we are an easy target for the MM and shorters. They BOD are either powerless or don't care, neither is a good outcome for investors so....we are where we are. I only hold now because if the deals done in the past and am hoping the commodity boom materialises (unlike the V deficit thus far). And before anyone has a go at me...we are below 16 AGAIN... Point proved.
I have not sold, but I am very annoyed.
Have BE not had 5 years, a test battery at an Eskom facility, close cooperation with the IDC, shared a platform for public discussion with the president who referred to "the batteries" etc etc.
And then our bid, assuming we actually have been involved... it's so hard to tell, our bid is apparently not suitable??? After all this?
I am sure this is not the case and there will be more to it as nothing is clear, but Christ what a clusterfuk this whole BESS project appears to be, is it run by UK govt procurement by any chance? By the time it goes live batteries will be redundant and a new tech will have taken it's place, haha.
The point in investing is to see a return...
This share has been torture with endless big sellers and silence 're the big sp drag that is BE.
I hold for the steel market growth and am so k of being treated as a mushroom by the company.
I just see that as selling the cash cow for a few rocks and don't see the benefit for another listing for BE to be honest? Once BE shows its hand it is best to keep within the Bushveld group but maybe push the prominence up a bit letting the mining take a step back. The group can them list on any market it wants to, as a whole with better PR!
For me the key is for BE to show what it's been doing then the restrictions on the sp will miraculously disappear and up we go into a new energy dawn... if the story is actually told that is..
I see your point James but why would we need a spin out for BE to see some value? All it gives us is another listing and why suffer dilution for that after all this wait and frustration?? Some sales and info on how BE will Actually not theoretically add value is all we need surely.
Hale, Yes it does look like all eggs are in Eskom basket which perhaps explains the silence as we are beholden on Eskom and govt movements. Time will tell if this proves to be the correct decision and they either know it is worth taking that risk or not. If we knew the intentions or game plan all this speculation would be unnecessary.
Why is there so little buzz around Bushveld, beyond us holders, no one can deny that is not the case??? This week is pretty huge for BE and BMN but again...nothing. They say getting in too early is sometimes worse than too late but Jesus this is ridiculous!
I want to know What BE are doing, 5 years silence is unacceptable and stinks. Many of my theories have been posted here recently and I have stayed out if it but I firmly believe there are reasons for the silence, which are not really good (politics/corruption or just ineptitude) it just defies logic and No I don't buy the NDA argument as that is an idea mooted on here only which is not proof it is true. The 'ONLY' truth is what we are told by the company, which is nothing, the rest is guess work and could as easily be wrong as well as right.
Oh.. looks like I just answered my own question.
It's time for investors to be treated with some respect.
Everyone will be pleased to learn that the bid is between 19 and 19.2 as it has been for an age.
Volume seems to have dipped as everyone gets bored...again, mission accomplished I presume? Hopefully the selling eases so we are not ground down again.
If there is a big seller why don't Mms move the price up? Generate demand and sell the big seller into it? They make their commission and he price moves withou them risking any kind of short themselves. They can still play the drop game after the rise to shake a few out and soak up some shares so win win for them?
