15% plus dividends in a year seems pretty good to me!

I'll add some positivity to the board. I bought this primarily because the dividend is excellent and I believed maintainable. As I bought in late Feb I got extremely lucky with timing and so my average (after reinvesting the divis) is only 57.35p. I think the price is currently fair, with the upcoming results needed for further clarity. With this being said, I do think ITV makes a reasonable investment as this is an industry where success can almost be a matter of luck. Say the studios hit upon one (or many) popular new shows that can be exported globally - that could easily transform prospects. So let's not be so downbeat, management is fine, neither terrible or spectacular and as an investment I'm quietly confident.

I don't entirely understand your point here. You don't have to like the product for it to be a good investment. NEXT is up about 40% in the last year, a good result by anyone's standards. If ITV is up 40% in a year, a lot of us here will be very happy, even if you still dislike the company.

In fairness they are fairly active on Instagram and TikTok, but it should be pretty easy to keep all socials active. I understand the need for targeting, but even so I'm not convinced ignoring platforms makes sense when it really doesn't require much effort.

Tried the new app today - pretty underwhelmed in all honestly. Doesn't look particularly good (thought it was a fairly confusing/poor layout) and there appears to be a bug when you buy through the app, you don't get a loyalty stamp which is a very obvious oversight.

I might be completely wrong of course, but I don't see the introduction of the app changing much.

As for the Fresh Burrito purchase - happy but management seem to have set expectations far too high.

Lower EBITDA at results. Shame, and we need to start seeing improvement here. Marketing needs improving - not a single post on X/Twitter since 2022 and nothing on Facebook since March. This is the easy stuff and they don't seem to be executing it well.

Agree, was hoping for more information on European expansion especially but it feels like they are sort of waiting for potential partners to approach rather than being proactive. I'm positive, but not excited which is a shame.
