I was going to say, seems a little odd that a government announcement should be considered to be "local news" in London, but shouldn't have been surprised.

Visited London a number of times and none of the locals seem to see beyond the end of their own noses...

On Monday, God created the Londoners torso.

On Tuesday, God gave the Londoner legs.

On Wednesday, God gave the Londoner arms.

On Thursday, God gave the Londoner a head with an echo chamber installed.

On Friday God gave the Londoner a pair of hands, in the hope that they might be able to find their own ****, and thus the term "not fit for purpose" was born...

On Saturday God gave the Londoner a pair of feet, in the expectation they would look around, and decide to go live somewhere else...unfortunately God forgot to install a brain, so for the most part they stayed put.

And on Sunday, God decided to take a day off and hoped that he could do better next week.

People keep saying 'March Grant', but as far as I know the announcement is to be made in spring, so anytime from 20th March until 21st June.

Happy to be corrected if anyone knows better, but that's how I remember it from last time I read it.
