Siles,
Where do you get £2.5/test from.
From presentation 28/10/2020 CK stated that profit from HMG RTC sales was "around" 70p/test.
this is still big numbers but perhaps not as big as you suggest
GreggS,
From the Nov presentation CK was aiming to produce 2M/Week not 2.5, true he did say he was exploring options for producing in excess of this number.
having said that I would just love to think that some of this kit HMG has been purchasing has been finding its way to Alva or Littleport.
"Join a growing, people-driven organisation dedicated on producing the best #lateralflow test solutions to help decision makers deploy a more rapid response to test results."
Just love the sound of "rapid response to test results" ... #HappyDays
I took part in the React study earlier this year ... they supplied the Fortress test ... not sure if this is the same study or an additional one

Will the tender will not go to Mologic who will place an order on ODX?
Extrapolate those numbers into April's production figure and the valuation at a P/E of 5 is not far shy of a billion !!!
And I have said before that we should be looking now at expanding our production further (not too fast, lets get Alva settled down first)
From Colin's Oct/March production slide & assuming all production is AbC-19
Oct 4 Weeks x 200K
Nov 4 Weeks x 300K
Dec 4 Weeks x 500K
That's circa 4 million available from #ODX (assuming we have not sold them elsewhere)
Would you like daily. weekly or monthly sales figures in the RNS?
Dont worry, we are still talking peanuts here ... the big numbers are still to come
Colin has it all under control

Abingdon are not raising this cash ... The PE & institutions that own them are selling a chunk of the business
Totally agree ... I'd sure as hell want to know whether or not my Granny was in the 5% who it did not work for ... Antibody testing is key
Obviously I meant Antibody
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Pls answer this
Assume 60 million in the UK
Assume 50 million want the vaccine
Assume vaccine is 90% successful
How are you gonna identify the 5 Million with no immunity without an anitigen test for all 50 million?
I think you will find that is 2.5 Million/week
Agreed TWatcher
And this is part of the necessary frustration of being part of the consortium I alluded to earlier this morning.
BUT I would be v surprised if this production/build was not underwritten (or even pre paid) by HMG. Also frustrating is that we have no visibility of terms associated with sales through the consortium or the timelines the for payment to flow through Abingdon to ODX.
September 2 weeks @ 100,000
October 4 weeks @ 100,000
November 4 weeks @ 200,000
Somewhere out there is a warehouse with 1.4 million tests manufactured just by ODX ... that makes me feel a little warmer especially as production ramps up in the coming months
Of course the consortium still exists
Abingdon are the lead partner and public face of the RTC ... a consortium is what it says on the tin, it issues it's own press releases and based on this information ODX can make comment. Any other orders, plans or deals under consideration by the RTC are not in the public domain at this tome and no amount of badgering of CK is gonna change this.
Is this really too difficult to understand?
From the OP
'We can’t predict the future demand but clearly there is the opportunity for the UK RTC manufacturing members to increase manufacturing capacity further or to consider licensing out manufacture to other high quality manufacturers.'
Am I the only one that thinks this might be huge? ... I posted a number of times about ODX needing a bigger boat and this is just that, imagine worldwide manufacture of AbC-19 the reliable cheap antibody test developed under a UK Govt initiative, no need to reconfigure and buy new kit anymore ... simply outsource and watch the royalties flow in.
Is that 33M subcontracted outside Abingdon or subcontracted outside the RTC? ... The answer is "we dont know"
If ODX is working at full capacity be that 200K units a week or 2.5M units a week I's be quite happy to subcontract out and concentrate on higher margin products.
mea culpa
Thanks for putting me right ... too many possibilities
