This seems to be the most plausible reason as to why they stopped for the 2 weeks

if the paperwork is not as it should be and needs to be clarified by the EA to councilors and general public.

nothing to do with perfing or anything else about the well but just paperwork that needs sorting out.Like Alan as said you do not stop Oil production just because it is Christmas.But you can be stopped by a regulator if the paperwork is not as it should be.This would take the responsibility away from Vonk for them shutting the well down at Christmas he probably had no choice.

I have to agree with xxxyyyzzz on this one looks like the EA has asked them to stop while things are clarified.

There is no clarification of what is appraisal and what is production. These are not terms that the EA use in their regulations.

Alan if they have done the perf and oil did not flow as expected,would the acid wash help if it was left for a couple of weeks to do its job or am I way off on that.

I am a bit worried as to why they stopped work when on the cusp of opening up a company maker,it makes no sense to me at all.With no reason given as to why it was done it worries me no end.If the perfs were done and oil was flowing why stop.If the perfs were not fired why state work as started,very puzzling.Why only half a story on what is happening,we should have been given the full story.

I think maybe PV & JT are having a Christmas break with families and did not want to be away when it all kicks off so put it on hold while they get back.Just my thoughts only.Sounds plausible.

That I do not like at the moment is the break over Christmas at such a pivotal point in the companies history with no reason given why this is happening.It would have been a lot easier to take in if a reason had been given.Maybe Vonk was waiting for the go ahead and got it sooner than he thought he would,is the only reason I can come up with.

The thought of an RNS coming out saying oil is flowing would do my head in over Christmas, if I held no shares.

as posted we have no production licence for the KIM at Brockham.We have 3 years of testing plenty of time to get the Licence for the KIM it is exactly what UKOG are doing getting the Oil out while waiting for their Licence.Not a problem is it Adrian mountains out of mole hills, you are beginning to sound like a swampy Adrian give it a rest.Merry Christmas to you and yours.

They have removed him

(1) Have they done the perfs yet.

(2) Anyone think the 2 week holiday is to inform the People of Brockham they intend to start 2nd week Jan with perfs.

(3) And though they stated in RNS they had started would that be just for the groundwork,getting things ready.

(4) Will it be ok to have a Merry Christmas.
