He would like to think that the share price will drop hoping to get back in here, but if he sold out of UKOG now his profits would not allow him to buy back what he held before he sold without having to add more money.I am afraid he will be locked into UKOG for the foreseeable future.But that was his choice each to their own.This share more likely to go up not down.Just my opinion of course.

From Angus. Dear OGA we are producing 2000 barrels a day which was not expected.OGA reply to Angus sorry to hear that, you need to choke it back to 300 barrels a day you are producing to much.I DO NOT THINK SO.

I do not think I am wrong scallywag3 it is the OGA,s responsibility to make sure OIL companies get the most out of each well.It is not there besseness to have OIL companies produce less from their wells.They have a duty to make sure things are run as safely as possible that is why there is a limit on the GAS to WIRE, which can be amended with bigger generators as they go through the testing phase of the well.

if the GAS was equivalent to 300 barrels a day what do they do with the OIL that comes out to.What you are saying is they choke it back so only 100 barrels of OIL and the other 200 barrels is GAS.The OGA are not there to stop OIL flowing they are there to make sure wells flow to their max.The 300 barrels offtake is for GAS to WIRE and does not include the OIL that will be flowing to.

Sorry Weetsie but you are wrong, the OGA want as much OIL from a well that is possible not less that is why they are there to make sure that happens.

The offtake of GAS is 5665k meters per day which equates to 0.0048 of OIL it does not mean they can only flow 300 barrels of OIL.The OGA want every well to produce as much as they can they would not put a constraint on a company to produce less OIL than they could.The OGA have only put the 5665k meters of GAS constraint there because of the size of the generator which can be added to if there is more GAS than expected.

UKOG have been burning money with their flare stack, we will be generating money with GAS to WIRE plus all the OIL that comes out..

to death here if you ask me.The 300 barrels equivalent is for the gas generator, what about the OIL itself depends how much gas comes out while pushing the OIL out to,Surely it is not 300 barrels with both OIL and GAS that does not make any sense at all.We have no idea how much GAS will come out with the OIL.It could be 1000 barrels of OIL and 300 equivalent barrels in GAS.

Not sure I get this but we are talking about GAS to generator equivalent to 300 barrels of oil.We are not talking about OIL that will be flowing to.1000 barrels of OIL plus 300 barrels equivalent in GAS or is it both combined,that equates to just 300 barrels.Does not make sense that they can only produce 300 barrels a day including the GAS.

We might post waffle Alan that is what a dibate consists of a lot of waffle.Turns out in the end to be positive waffle if we all chip in and take a bit from each poster.Some of it is good some not so good,but better to discuss than to say nothing at all.And nobody need read it anyway if they wish not to.

I do not disagree with any of you, what I am trying to say is I think it must have something to do with the EA as to why they stopped for Christmas I can think of no other reason than that at this time.For them to say they started then in the same breath say they have stopped was puzzling to say the least.But for regulators I am sure Vonk would have been working over Christmas.Nothing like Broadford Bridge with no news on how things where going,this is totally different,it happened so fast one minute they start the next minute they stop.If there was a problem they could not just walk away for 2 weeks for health and safety reasons and the integrity of the well they would have had to stop and fix whatever the problem was before taking a break.So like I said my conclusion is it is just a paper exercise that needs sorting.Just my opinion of course,and this opinion makes me feel a lot better now about the break..But people must draw their own conclusions as to what happened.

I agree with what you are saying, but without going into all the detail that may be involved I would think Vonk this time made the right decision to make it short and to the point that they are stopping work for Christmas.Maybe he himself did not know why the EA stopped them if that is what really happened.But I now feel that it has something to do with the EA and not a well problem.
