LMAO
Directors on companies like this never buy shares as they get too many free options for it to be worth their while. So if you're waiting for Mick and any other board members to buy shares here you'll be waiting a loooooooong time. Free shares for the boys!
are you serious? lol... thanks for what... nothing?
according to Orion they only need a hand-held metal detector to go and find Gold in the Pilbara/Karlawinda assets.... GET ON WITH IT THEN!
The question remains though... if we can't do a deal on Molyhill with Tungsten/Moly on the floor... how do we expect to do a deal once the NAV rises?...
still needs financing/dilution etc...
Yep, very low risk investment from what I can see.
I'm interested to know what has happened to the Metalysis R&D now they have been acquired by Power Resources Group. Hopefully someone attending on Friday's Share Talk event in London can ask the question.
I think Mick will freely admit he is way over schedule with respect to Molyhil. I expect the new NED will shake things up a bit.
Will it recover to 1.75p? A lot of investors are hoping so! Most seem to think Molyhill finance will be the catalyst but I think they are going to be disappointed. With the other assets we have, Mick Billing shouldn't find it too hard to return value to shareholders way in excess of 1.75p. I'm personally holding for much higher than that, and positioned accordingly.
No that's cool. I didn't take any of it as a negative. You are right re the website section on Projects. That is quite annoying. I have met various members of the MKA team before at investor events and have the utmost confidence this will come good eventually. Just a case of sitting it out for now and for anyone that invested higher up than where we are now then its really a no brainer to be averaging down at these levels.
Some interesting points cristalball. My thoughts:
- some civil unrest / makes retail investors nervous ... if you think it makes retail investors nervous... what about institutional level?
- what are we doing with Thambani now we turned down the farm in? I expect news on this in Q4
- hardly any updates at all on BFS - where are we with this? We did have an update recently... to say it's only just got started, so I wouldn't expect anything until Q1 2020 at the earliest on this.
- no guarantee of mine funding - Talaxis' investment thus far does seem to suggest they are fully committed. If you look at various LinkedIn profiles for Talixis SLT they seem to suggest they already own Songwe which to me says they are very much committed to this in the long term. There are no permits to mine in place for any of MKA's projects as yet so that is still a hurdle to be achieved in future. If a change of govt were to happen there is no guarantee that any of MKA's projects would continue so significant political risk, especially as recent elections are being challenged.
- it will be a few years to get anything out of the ground. True, but any material news from this level is upside to current SP.
- website hasn't been updated in months. It has been updated in some aspects (particularly financials), maybe you aren't looking hard enough. I think the whole website could do with a facelift however although a great website won't do anything for the SP.
- Metalysis has gone into administration. This had very little material value to MKA and isn't completely dead as we all know. It's very much a "wait and see" what comes next there as I suspect it will reform under a new name soon enough with MKA either hopefully retaining a share.
35p prior to placing/dilution. Don't expect it to get anywhere near that figure until commercial deals start getting structured in around 2021, if they make it far without diluting further (which they are going to have to do one way or the other, especially if N4P want to acquire further assets).
Yes, PM709 - good points indeed. But what if any of those 4x stages come back as negative or are delayed? You can't simply assume that all R&D is going to be successful at every stage. As with any investment, you need to factor in risk.
nobody has any idea what the EUNCL results will do to the SP. Let's be honest. You might get 25-50% tick up... and then what? How long before the rest of the Nuvec studies take place before commercial discussions can even begin... end of 2020? We're all looking at long periods of no news which is why this is likely to be a trading stock (if you want to make profit) for the next 18 months as opposed to a long term hold.
your guess is as good as mine. I hope you are right and I am wrong is all I can say.
lets see where it is by 4:30. This has happened all too much too often with THR. so many false dawns. We've all been here long enough.
Bring on 4p!
flurry of buys?.... to a total value of £7.5k? LOL yes... someone loading up big time! lolololol

Tally Money Ltd (or what was Lionsgold Ltd if it still exists?...) still own 12.5% of Railsbank to my knowledge although after the recent $10M fundraise last week I very much doubt this is still the case. Their holdings will no doubt have been diluted down somewhat. Could still prove to be a very fruitful investment for TALY holders though in the long term.
plenty of companies do this on AIM with little results to show for it.
Yes I do see your point ginger84. How much cash do MTR actually have in the bank these days given their various other commitments? I guess they do have the backing of Sprott and the upcoming MOD/Sandfire deal which is more significant than their SP suggests currently. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. I'm fully expecting some sort of Molyhill update by end of Q3/Sep.
Orion. I respect your point of view and your obvious wealth of experience in these matters but if exploring the gold assets is as easy and inexpensive as you say it is... why on earth are THR not already doing it?
