.... You would have hoped so but we were only promised we would be informed 'in the coming days' which is unfortunately as woolly as usual.

I would feel a lot happier if we could adopt a more 'commercial' CEO to add a bit of snap to the profile and sale of what are undoubtedly wonderful and possibly amazing products.

I don't think for one minute the company would be in the position it is without our current CEO Dr Basu and colleagues, so we need to be thankful there and he obviously holds the company very close to his heart but things are moving on and stepping up and the impression you get hearing him speak is more one of having a cup of tea with your uncle in the front room rather than someone who is taking commercial initiatives and making things happen.

Probably in a bit more now than originally intended but it seems a shame to ignore such an entry point when the prospects are so enticing both from a company and forward market point of view.

Had a small amount available and was waiting for the price to pull back to fit that amount for the number of shares I wanted so all good there. It's nice when a plan comes together!

Feel the company is being well managed now with communication lessons learnt and much to look forward to. Clear objectives are being set out which can be monitored from time to time. And there's always the anticipation of co-projects on the currently inactive mines further news of which could break any time and I wanted to be in a position to benefit from.

More positive news and ammunition for the STX/ Norgine guys on the front line.

Don't know whether to be disappointed or not with the lack of share price reaction/volume to the CKD news. Maybe it just comes down to whether the 'positive news' translates into sales.

Been trying to find out if the Shield offering on the OTCQX exchange in the US (under the SHIEF pseudonym) has seen much/any attention, as from what I can see there has been minimal if any so far.

In light of your observations though SP it does lead you to wonder what job Norgine are actually doing considering how long our product has been available in the UK market. It must surely be something that our new CEO will be reviewing. Is it because of the UK marketing constraints with each Health Trust taking its own view or maybe the price point or maybe just basic access to knowledge about its effectiveness? As we would all hope should the US maketing drive be a success I wonder if off of that profitabilty that might encourage STX to look at doing its own similar marketing here if the sums are right? It just seems that ferracru is perceived almost as an elite drug rather than any go to alternative.

Price continuing to tick up at the moment...

It would be nice to think that we won't see a 4 handle on the price anymore (before the 400s anyway!) but in the absence of any news I wouldn't like to rule it out.

On a more positive note it was a pretty sharp move up yesterday and on better volume. It just makes you wonder whether the proverbial Mr Market has caught wind of something - or maybe he's just got wind.

Would have loved to have added more to this when back in the low 40s but I had my kitchen sink moment probably a couple of months ago now so pretty much out of dry powder unfortunately.

Just need a little bit of patience to wait and a lot of patients to make us happy.

Understood that the 'disappointingly discounted placing' must have been a real pain for all longer term holders but tbh that's what had attracted me to the stock in the first place and I built up my position shortly after from about 34p ending up with an average price of around 41.5. Might not have been in at all otherwise.

Thanks too for your views on where you anticipate the share price going. I guess until the time we get some initial firm news on US sales the share price is open to being a bit of a lottery. Once something is declared (which trust will live up to the billing) there will be no end of calculations and predictions which will hopefully catch the imagination of many more investors and thus boost the share price to more reasonable levels.

I must say I had expected a bit more profile and maybe comment on overall operations from our new CEO after 2 months in place. As someone has said previously it would be good to see STX get a better handle on the UK / European ventures for instance. Maybe the new broom is doing a bit more sweeping behind the scenes than we give credit for.

On the subject of non US areas of involvement does anyone know why the China contract needs to take so long to play out?

Hopefully with everyone gradually pulling through Covid the newsflow including from US will be much improved. Patience is indeed a virtue.

The future prospects for STX remain very exciting.

Just wondering what has prompted the buying interest today with back up to average volume and a few serious buys. Maybe a mention on a 'tip sheet' or in a magazine?
I for one am certainly happy to see some northward progress for once with it bouncing off almost exactly my averaged in price which I hadn't expected to revisit I must admit even though the arrival of further news is unknown. I am quite substantially invested here for my portfolio so some further progress will be most welcome!
