The SP needs to hit £1.00 before we get back to the consolidation price ! Cant remember exactly but they were something like , 2.5p when we got 1 for 40 and lets not forget (as if we would) that they have been down around 2.5p on occasions -since - consolidation. The "Johnny Come Lately's" will be delighted at the current progress but for us LTH's to sell at todays price wouldn't bag us a "tripe supper" - so the enthusiasm of Malcy does seem to wear a bit thin
The initial flurry of activity in the S.P. was very short lived. As one says, its all right having masses of the stuff but ya gotta flog it profitably and that means getting customers to pay for their useage. So....3.68p - no big deal yet. I guess the market is so wary after so long especially of the theatre in which we are trading
From £10k originally to what wouldn't get me half a steak at Salt Bae's restaurant now !! I know its all a gamble but all the surmising and attempts to second guess boardroom and government activity - and we go on about sleaze here !! You couldn't make it up !
And this is the country that we are involved with?? If their government can do that then they can do anything, like ..."it's our gas, thanks very much and bugger off"
I thought I would post this here as some of our contributors may have been involved with Fortune Oil in the past. They bought us all out as i recall at a very cheap price with the promise of and extra payment subject to the performance in the first year etc., I had a call from New York last night from some organisation purporting to be involved with the new company that Fortune became and that the extra funding had been agreed etc., I am pretty sure that the bottom line would have been for me to reveal my details for payment to be forwarded (no chance !!!) Just wondered if someone on this board may have been involved with Fortune and received a similar call ?
The sea of "reds" on the trade chart reflects the frustration . We have had no recent news - is the silence out of frustration or embarrassment ?
Nothing on the website re- a substantial bung of debt from ENEO, or anything else significant. 30 days from 16/04 ? Sad to say we are operating in a different reality system with a very unrealistic approach to promises and committments . What can one do? VOG are in a sovereign country who could, I suppose, say "Thank you and goodnight" at any given moment. It seems to be the attitude globally when something is or isn't done that causes outrage the attitude is "What are you going to do about it? " and what do you do ? - start a war? The old "fait acompli" that no one dares to question too closely. Third world emerging countries accepting "gifts" without realising that there is no such thing as a "free lunch!" A negotiating nightmare !!
Well, a Utopian thought indeed, but, lets get first things first, the agreed settlement of debt within 30 days. Sadly, so many of us are "battle weary" with this Leviathan it is very hard to conjour up more than a modicum of enthusiasm these days.
I knew there was something i really liked about you HS ! Sadly, only bottled versions of Bishop's Tipple, 49er , Abbot and 6X, unless braving the intemperate excess of al-fresco draught ! - Monday is another day and another week - yes, hurry up VOG !!
All the best
A very comprehensive precis there H.S. - a worrying thought
There is a chilling aspect about this, a possible strategy. There is no such thing as a 'free lunch' Wasn't it Chairman Mao who, when asked if The French Revolution had been successful, replied "It's too early to say yet"
I sincerely hope you are right sir, it would be wonderful. Hope is the only reason i don't "throw the toys out of the pram" and cash the lot in in a fit of pique after a decade - I had 400k shares @2.5p - I now have 10k shares @4.75p - one must see that the "jam tomorrow" mantra has, for so many of us LTH's , worn a little thin and "pull the other one" seems more appropriate
I was looking back at the posts over the past couple of weeks where Amanda ? posted some very positive predictions. They have disappeared ?? and so has the progress to 20p with them. There seems to be something inherently wrong here, a huge emerging country with vast natural resources and VOG with enough gas to keep the wheels turning. What is happening to the monies received by the Government and their promises to settle outstanding bills to one and all? They really are having a laugh. VOG, or any other company, cant rock the boat , they're mining in another sovereign country and really are at their mercy. I cant see this being resolved any time soon otherwise the ENEO bill would have been settled by now and there would be no question of power cuts etc., There could be other, rich, predatory regions in the world that are eyeing situations like this with a view to making a commercial killing?
Prior to the latest Company admin. i.e. Roy Kelly, who's talents have yet to be manifest, we have entrusted our hard-earned to a Company in a Country , both of which seem to have been sorely lacking in any positive direction. I doubt that I will, like many of my peers, recoup a fraction of my initial investment before I hand my feeding pail in - yep - its always a gamble but the hype that emanated from Mr.Foo and the enthusiasm of "Malcy", etc., has resulted in a belief that success or failure is now believed to be hinged on an unpaid bill from one customer and the sale of another lame duck in Russia. It speaks volumes for the future. All this in a global movement to reduce and eventually eliminate fossil fuel - thank you and goodnight!
Thanks again H.S. - I'll just stick to crotchets and quavers and hope for the best - it's been a long time
I'm confused, but certainly open to be corrected, I did see above that VOG opened @ 4.10, had an interday high of 5.4813 and closed @4.50 ? Am I missing something here? perhaps that's why Im still poor
Cant see what all the fuss is about, finished @ 4.50 last night just up 0,25p? - they've been languishing @ 4.25 for ages - wont be punting for a Porsche just yet !

Thanks H.S. I just get wound up from time to time, I will re-don my "patient-head"
Although only a minnow who has lost the best part of £10k to date , I thought I would use VOG's contact page on their website to urge for more regular news of progress (hmmm!) I wrote a very polite message and when I clicked submit I got a 403 "Forbidden" - so it seems that one cannot write to the company
