Not bothered who suggested it, just glad it’s been done lol. Looks good! Now just the Twitter to update. Even something as simple as the website gives you a bit more reassurance that this is a company still looking to a bright future - they really were doing themselves no favours with the offering they had, especially for investors. Hopefully they’ve got it looking all shiny and new ready for pending news :)
They don’t control news flow, that much is true. But that doesn’t also mean they can’t release any news around the polarisers that are already out there and being used. Are they working? How’s it going? Are the users happy with the devices? Any feedback from the sites using them? It’s a lack of this that concerns me because I don’t see any reason the business can’t share some of these things. Most of them most likely wouldn’t fall under regulated news flow, it could be an article or something on their website. No news just breeds uncertainly. I don’t hold thousands in this as I’m not a wealthy investor - I’ve got 1800 shares now, having bought a couple of hundred more on the dip this morning. I still believe in this business, logic says they will succeed but we need to see something soon or else human nature will kick in and ‘better’ opportunities will present themselves, whether real or imagined.
Absolutely. Unfortunately the share price will focus on the past and the present for a while but I think we all can see that the things Gfin have done needed to be done, and the foundation looks solid for the future. There’s no panic needed here, just time to let things settle and recover. Panic at your own peril - this remains sound for the future. The sector will be massive (it already is) and Gfin will be at the heart of that in Britain.
Something like freetrade makes it extremely cheap and easy for ‘normal’ people to invest and this is likely what you’re seeing. I for one am no stranger to topping up the odd £20 here and there when available. Not everyone is trading thousands.
I’m going to start watching this a bit less… a watched pot never boils and all that. It’s easy to get obsessive over this one and look constantly and it’s only actually some news that will move it. So if it’s new year it’s new year… I’m going to try and discipline myself from now on (well after this message anyway :-) lol )
Definitely a wait and see for me. I’m in at 73p average though so would be daft for me to do otherwise given it’s settled for the time being. Who knows what it does next, but I can’t see it doing much at all without something substantial coming from the company itself. It’s still dependent on a yes or a no so in essence you could still call it a binary play, but I still feel relatively confident on what we do know - but some confirmation of the facts would make me a lot more confident. The company knows this but I’d rather they wait and have some proper news than put out something weak and not tangible.

I can’t see this cos of the paywall... if anyone could oblige to give the gist?
This is the sort of post that winds me up… just let it be what it will be! The worst board going for this kind of post is Cineworld, it used to absolutely do my head in. Just let it do what it will do without the pointless guessing games. We all have eyes ??
