I'm with bearhunter on this one. Its not many bosses who would take the time to reply to PI's but he did. The RNS, although frustrating, gives a clear date which I think is the first time we have had this under Bob. This gives the indication to me that the accounts are pretty much there but gives the revb team some wiggle room to get the job done. Its the previous directors who put us in this mess and not Bob. I am happy to wait a month personally as I am not looking to sell my shares this year. See you all in a month.

Really good points made by everyone here. I think one thing must be true of all posters here, and that's that we will all be setting our alarms for 7:00am sharp next week in case it is the RNS day! I personally cannot wait to see what comes out after 6 months of waiting.

A complete guess, but perhaps the October ones were by way of a trial. Try out a few lines in a few stores to gauge the appetite of the customer for the lower price brand, before going large in Feb with this new range? 2500 is a significant number of stores and they have shed loads of product lines online at least. My gut and the evidence tells me its new and more importantly significant.

Thanks for finding this becinthenorth. I love the tactic of having a range with walmart that does not conflict / upset their other big usa customers as according to the articles they are the only US reseller to have it. There seems to be 96 products in this range already on the walmart website:

So, Walmart must already have the stock which means a nice addition to the 22/23 sales. Just one piece of the jigsaw left to go - come on BDO!

I reckon if you can hold off for 2-3 weeks, you can get the teak or american walnut. MiddleEastMoney had an email stating end Feb latest. He seems pretty genuine as his last email from Bob was spot on. I suppose its not too surprising its taken over 2 weeks since the forensic investigation finished, as the job for BDO has changed. They previously audited an annual report and now its the annual report plus historical adjustments and revb also doing a trading update. And then revb need to write up their glossy report. Personally I am thinking 2 weeks from now although would love it if its earlier.

Investing101 - read my post you muppet! I am not talking about beauty but their IT side which is poorly performing. Ingenuity (not beauty) was meant to be the next big thing with massive growth. It has not lived up to its reputation. The beauty section of THG is still performing well.

I agree - I cannot see them buying revb (Boo feels a better fit with age demographic). Looking at the THG figures, Ingenuity looks poor growth and on demand looks awful. I remember that ingenuity was seen as the big growth area before the share price plummeted, and I would have expected the growth to be more than this given how much has been invested in it.

Not sure where it will open but as long as nothing disastrous reported in reports rns then surely it must double or triple from current position this year. I have a hunch only that perhaps it tried to grow too quickly too soon. I am also surprised by how many collab lines they do. It would be good to see breakdown by category/sub category in their annual report. I am delighted that we have a steady hand in control now. I wonder whether they will ease up on new product development, cut back on certain sub categories that are less profitable or even do a more mass market range for everyone (which they previously said was against their philosophy). As someone who does not intend to sell this year, I am interested in their medium term strategic plans.

On a personal level, I have another share which has been suspended for over 3 months and is in its 4th month of suspension. That particular company seems to be trading well and should come out of suspension soon. It is hard mentally to keep seeing a share suspended every day without a defined coming back onto market date. With gfin, it looks strong to me at this price and having raised funds earlier in the year, and hopefully making profit next year, it looks well set.

Does anyone have any experience with how long these investigations into audits normally take?

I know its just a snapshot view, but I visited the Leeds Town Centre Boots store - the biggest one in town (there are a few in town). Revolution still has loads of shelf space. As you go in the main doors, it has a very big presence of XX Revolution immediately on your right, then it has a medium size presence of the normal eye and face makeup stuff (which was being restocked) further into the store, and then a third smaller section near the men's section for hair stuff. You would think it was doing well in UK. It would be interesting to know how well it was doing in US stores.

There are so many upsides to this business with new higher margin divisions becoming more important, I only see this going up. I predict a gentle rise end this year and a bigger jump next year as we see profits and no more fundraising.

Just a bit of research...Went into Superdrug in Headingley (Leeds). Headingley is a massive student area so you would expect Revolution would do well here. Revolution had the first stand in the store (and a large one) as you went in. The store was pretty empty with students nursing hangovers but glad to see one person at the stand. Reassuring that they had the number one position but I accept that it is not like other sites which are less aimed at young people.

Hi All.
An interesting thought occurred to me. Provided that the accounts are not too bad and the suspension is lifted in a few weeks, do we think that a weaker pound is good or bad for revolution beauty? I am thinking of the sales to Target etc in USA being important to revolution. I was trying to balance this against what they buy in dollars. All views welcome.

If you believe in the future prospects for the company and do not need to sell, best plan is to do nothing for a few weeks.
