RE: Anyone selling those at these levels must be bonkers13 Mar 2026 16:16
Totally agree. Bluefield solar said this pre March 3 "We are pleased to have seen good interest from parties wishing to participate in the Formal Sale Process and have now narrowed this list of potential bidders down to a targeted number with more focused due diligence progressing with this group. As such, the Formal Sale Process continues to progress in line with expectations, and the Board will provide further updates when appropriate."
The Bluefield share price today is at a 24% discount. That's only going to narrow further if a sale is successful to, say, 12%?
A 12% discount to our NAV would take us to 74p. Even narrowing to the current BS discount of 24% would take us to 64p.
I appreciate nothing is certain and it wont happen in a week perhaps not at all but there's a very reasonable potential for a true re-rate (c.50% upside) to NESF if BS goes according to plan, with I assume very little downside from where we are today if it doesn't. And you wont have to wait long to find out.
I'm certainly not saying this thing and its pathetic management aren't woeful I have lost a horrid amount of money thanks to both, but selling NOW? Really? Why?
