Greggs has always been in a “fiercely competitive retail food space”, what makes it more competitive than say a year ago?

Re the price rise, have competitors also been pitting up prices in the UK?

As I understand it yes a portion of the closures are moving to a nearby site, presumably the floor print of the new ones are bigger too as an avenue of growth, when existing stores are reaching capacity LYL growth is difficult.

Management seem to be very disciplined in their approach.
