Daisan - the term dumping is clearly not appropriate when it is evident that the run rate on First Island shares is never more that 1M/day. The pattern is very much in line with the Market Makers desire to push the price as low as they need to in order to be able to close their 5M size short at significantly lower prices than the 28.30p they took when selling those shares.

If it is 'significantly lower' than $0.25 per KWh then we might assume $0.20 per KWh - any lower and they are paying less than I have to.

25MW would therefore earn $5,000 per hour or 120,000 per day or 45Million USD per year.

However this is only for 25 MW capacity - there are plans to raise this by a factor of 2.4 to 60MW - which would naturally yield something over $100M per annum, pretty much guaranteed for 30 years.

Last week I said I was targeting getting more Twitter followers that SP Angel. We achieved that very quickly and now have > 5% more than them.

gambit - I'm not so sure it has that much to do with FI - I suspect that the MMs are in control of when and if they take any of FI's shares - I think FI are being played like the proverbial fiddle as far as I can see.

In principle they can stop selling whenever they like, but if they have already given an instruction to sell X Million to the MM then I suspect that might be hard to back out of.

I have no idea whether First Island will sell down to zero which is why I stated in reference to the possibility that they might simply be selling down to a Free carry situation the following: "There is therefore still the possibility that First Island will cease selling imminently if this is, or now becomes, their strategy."

The worst-case realistic assumption is that they will continue to sell until they run out of shares, having made something like 180% profit in 8 Months. That is why I have analysed that scenario.

Headancer - re Americans buying on AIM - yep it would be a good thing if they let us know how they can do it and make sure that we pass that information on to the rest of them.

Very good point endion - I see that from https://twitter.com/BushveldMin_Ltd/status/1055823703626395648 that #investSA is one that the company/IDC/SA gov are aiming to get out there and which those who might be amenable to the idea of investing in SA would be most receptive to.
