Nice to see the SP holding for the moment which can provide a decent "foothold" for upward activity when further positive news is released regarding Kvemo Bolnisi & Tsitel Sopeli in the not too distant future in my opinion. The next batch of news may prove pivotal in where we go from here. GLA
The positive news flow appears to be continuing here and hopefully this will bring a little more confidence to the long term holders(like myself) & potential new investors as the last twelve months have been a roller coaster for the SP. For those that got in again at the low a few weeks, back even at today's price, have done well. I personally need this to regain old territory and feel that there is definitely some great news to come here that will help in that aim. The next few weeks could prove exciting & I have my fingers and toes crossed that this is the case GLA
Recent fundraiser/ dilution has temporarily held back SP here it appears but with M & A activity coupled with further excellent results to come this is sure to get much better in my opinion. Plenty of opportunities out there for Vertu to proactively add to existing strong portfolio with the funds in hand.GLA
As previously stated it is good for all ( long term holders & new investors) to see some very positive gains of late. We all need the interest to be sustained and those gains held. GLA
Good week so far, nice to see 🤗
Been in here a long while now & pleased to see the SP reflecting the hard work that continues within Vertu. Robert Forrester steers this ship well & has a good team around him to take opportunities as they arise.Long may it continue for all investors.
It is a mystery to me for sure JJ! When you look at the performance of Vertu and the acquisitive business strategy employed by Robert Forrester etc, you can see why there has been a number of large "buy ins" of late in my humble opinion. ATB
As per previous comments posted here I really cannot understand why the SP sits sub .60 mark? Car manufacturers like Vertu & how it's dealerships sell their product. Profits are good etc etc! Like I say I am perplexed as to why the SP is not somewhat North of here for sure?
Agreed! Sterling results as you quite rightly point out that should have moved the SP northwards of here in my humble opinion. Even taking into account the good year the automotive sector has experienced in general Vertu's performance has been better than most in my view & should warrant a higher SP when those additional assets etc are taken into account. DYOR
Hit the 60 mark now to push on! Cambria prelim results just out look good but just go to emphasise the value here in my humble opinion. Vertu becoming a major force yo be reckoned with in the Motor sector when compared to Peer Group I believe! GLA
Sorry to see you go MT but fully understand your frustration as I too believe this share should be hitting a much higher note. I have been in since the very early days ( and now we are getting improved dividends) with a long term view taken on my investment here. I have therefore seen a nice gain ( on paper at this stage) but firmly believe that when compared to other Automotive companies Vertu stock should be valued more. Robert Forrester has a shrewd mind ( I have shared his company on quite a few occasions hence my investment here) & his vision for Vertu is definitely built around sound business principles in my humble opinion. Currently it suits Vertu to be an AIM listed company but who knows what the future brings? Anyway all the best for the future & hopefully one day you might just be back here.
Four more Ford businesses added to the portfolio with a nice bit of freehold to boot as well! Robert Forrester & the Vertu Board really have got the "wallet" out a present building the company when the right opportunities arise. Surely this must now be worth .60+ in my humble opinion?????
Did not see this coming for sure but I think this could be a nice little earner added to the portfolio for the future. Fair old chunk of "goodwill" needed to "lever" this into the Vertu family (those canny Scot's!) but should not take long to pull it back into the coffers. A little more colour added to the ever lengthening tapestry that is Vertu! Keep weaving Robert! All in my humble opinion of course DYOR
The opening of the new Infiniti Dealership at the Silverlink Retail Centre in Newcastle is a further indication of Vertu's strategy to grow the business with considered partners backed by excellent customer service. Right in the companies North East "front garden" this particular business will be sure to get plenty of attention from internal & external sources. This can only mean the Dealership in the short to medium time will become yet another worthwhile & profitable member of the Vertu network in my humble opinion.
Vertu continue with their strategy of considered acquisitions to strengthen the existing portfolio in line with balanced franchise representation. The Manufacturers obviously consider the business model as sound and complimentary to their own market strategy which should bode well for both in the future DYOR
