Hello all, so as we all know the placing has been approved. However, this is the first company I have held through a proposed placing so I don’t really understand how it all works from here. Can anyone explain what happens next?

Exactly! Well this has been the easiest trade of the week. Might re-buy if it drops back to the low 180's. Apart from that all the best to all you LTH's out there. @Furrycoat maybe close that short? ;)

Its NOT going sub 20. That would make the mcap 26.5 mil. With the cash they have its just not going to go that low. Get in whilst its cheap. Easy buy

That just you're opinion and in my opinion you're wrong. Sim only might be 'all the rage' in the 50+ demographic who don't see the point in having the latest technology but with phone companies bringing out the latest models constantly there is always a demand to be with the latest trend. Carphone warehouse also offer to buy people out of their current contract to get them signed. Very appealing for people who can have what they want when they want it! This is just one factor in the business. This is a buy. Won't go any lower than 175. Easy 5/10% :) GLA

The market factors in events 18 months to 2 years in my experience though. Going off Q1 results maritime is 41% of revenue. Losing the monopoly will affect the company but how bad is still unknown. This is a good price though and I'm in @ 249. Buy if your not invested and hold if you are. IMO GLA

RBG is a great business and the SP doesn’t reflect the true value of the business. My local venue is always packed out. As soon as I’m liquid I’ll be buying big here. Happy to sit and watch it re-climb to the 180p area. DYOR

Have to slightly disagree with you there. I think IMM isn’t dead in the water and there is still potential with lupus. IMM are too small a company and their trial was simply to small. There was only a couple hundred odd in the phase 3 trial. Credit to them for going it alone but if they can colaberate with a bigger pharma they could take lupus to market and I’m sure they will take a cut out of GSK’s 400mil revenue of benstyla. However, you’re right. It certainly isn’t the all singing all dancing miracle some perceived. I’m happy to hold my IMM as my entry was after the drop but I would much prefer any suitors to look at Vec other IMM :)

Great post. Would you be able to explain further what the implications are in your opinion if VEC lose their court case to GSK with regards to their IP? I haven’t researched in depth so I know I’m wrong but I only recognised the GSK court case to be worth £15m per year until 2020 (I think). Is there more that I am missing? I will research and educate myself more when I get a chance :)

I for one am getting bored sitting on the sidelines reading these ramping and deramping posts. So, when do you expect the next RNS to be released with an update? Having re-read the latest RNS they stated: "The results of this study will now be shared with those potential commercial partners. There can be no certainty as to the outcome or timing of these discussions". For the more experienced on this board, how long would you expect these discussions to last (if successful)?

I can feel your pain but for me this is a great opportunity to top up based on what you have just laid out. This will hit a pound again easily based on its book value. I see this as a 25% increase on however much I purchase. Currently sitting 4K down on VEC but why would I cash in? With Advair diskus in the not to distant future we will see SP growth to where is should be which is IMO around the 145/160 mark. Time will tell and patience is needed. GLA

I’m out. This share is drifting down to 30 which is a fair SP IMO with the doubt around lupuzor. Might dip a toe in at 30 or under to try and regain some loses. Be very careful with this share.

What are everyone’s thoughts on the likelyhood of a collaboration with a larger company? I fear this will drift down to the low 30’s if we don’t get an RNS within the next fortnight or so. The upside here is huge so hopefully sentiment will change. GLA

I should have made myself clearer. I was saying that the buyback will most likely finish in the next day or so. Like everyone else on this board I was merely expressing my desire for the SP to rise and the shorts to close. The 2 are completely separate as the first is reality and the second is fantasy. Cheers
