Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
everything prior to the 5th May 2021 RNS (as previously mentioned) appears to have been cast into history, and all that went before was just the vehicle that got us to this juncture. I personally see no point in looking back, BUT am happy (briefly) to debate the history/considered worth of Alistair Muir (removed reinstated) or the invisible NvS !
Interesting with coal on the decline and our investment here being in Tanzanian coal. How ironic for the naysayers that we could/probably will be supplying Tanzanian coal to the Tanzanian Government :)
Just a point:
If there is going to be a Government Owned and Operated Power Station onsite, then that means there is no longer a RCPP or CFPP as far as Edenville are concerned, AND as long as there are no dirty tricks Edenville will undoubtedly be the only available viable option as the supplier of coal for the Tanzanian Governments Power Station! or am I missing something??….
unsolicited proposal/outside of any formal approach. …
esquimo
It would seem it has been decided, but why wasn’t the market informed if that is the case? I’m not sure whether the RCPP the CFPP or the on-site Power Station are the same thing anymore. When was an on-site Power Station decided (owned and operated by the Tanzanian Government) that we don’t know about??
The other question is if there’s going to be an “onsite” Power Station I’d suggest they have little choice as to were they are going to buy their coal, hence the word onsite!
Re Mozambique. Seems Kibo are selling off all their African coal projects. Tanzania, Botswana and Mozambique. …
All a bit mysterious and secretive currently ???
i.e.
Base Load/Continuous Load. …
My question was about that particular paragraph, and few things stand out to me that I don’t think have been mentioned before:
“Recommenced discussions with the Tanzanian Government”
“Recently been invited” with the emphasis on the word Recently
“Owned and operated by the Tanzanian Government”
The other thing that appears to suggest imo something completely different is the mention of a “Base Load Plant”
and would be interested to know what other make of the paragraph below:
“The Company has recommenced discussions with the Tanzanian Government and recently been invited to submit an unsolicited proposal for the supply of coal to an on-site power station owned and operated by the Tanzanian Government. The Tanzanian Government power planning programme shows the need for a base load plant by 2026”
Most everything that there is to say has already been said. …
Lol
Can’t believe my last trade is still on view from 24/6
It is extremely quiet, but it’s right across the market. Looks like they bought in May and went away!. …
Making pies?. …
No sure about the bet, any ideas??

Best AIM share in March 2019. …
I can even answer some harder questions! :))
Kibo

Lol
Who would make such a comment? lol (three guesses). …
I’m quite sure they are throwing everything at it currently otherwise they would be jeopardising the handover, and their future. Everything ‘outside coal’ is currently reliant on coal (as per) and consequently the ILTL deal.
The handover is paramount and without it (as previously mentioned) I don’t know what they expect to do/achieve with Tony Buckingham’s million quid?. …
