The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I said (wrongly) back in May that this would go down before if goes up, it shot up and down twice and is now doing what I expected at the time.
Having been stuffed by our resident villains I have place a 1m order at a considerably lower SP than todays price in the hope of reducing my average and prey (metaphorically speaking ) that the new brooms have some ethics!
Oh you took the “anybody with half a brain cell” comment as being directed at you!, but reading back I see now, as it was you that suggested that “They haven't confirmed a need to build, own and operate a power plant specifically at our site”even though Edenville RNS’ed “The Company has recommenced discussions with the Tanzanian Government and recently been invited to submit an unsolicited proposal for the supply of coal to an on-site power station owned and operated by the Tanzanian Government”
I really would like to understand, bearing in mind Edenville’s prowess in the coal mining industry, and as I previously posted, Edneville Energy, who have a coalfield with 173mt of proven coal at the termination point of the $455m transmission interconnector, WHY would anybody think anything other than on our site, especially given the fact that “The Company has recommenced discussions” with the TGov pertaining to on-site. If not to naysay where is the logic that makes you (not anybody else) think that?
A legitimate question that I would ask anybody on this bb with that view!
p.s.
I would just add that if you think I have a need to play down anything I have ever written you are only deceiving yourself!
For balance
e.g.
How can anybody in all sincerity believe “weather” research of any kind is indisputable, AND have the gall to suggest without laughing that they understand the Tanzanian Sumbawanga regional weather?. …
Earlier I was accused by that person of trying to undermining their credibility ;))
Your arrogance and conceits truly knows no bounds, you seem to think you are judge and jury on others posts, you not only say that they are wrong, but yours are indisputably correct. It has become apparent that once you have Googled something only your version is correct and you seek to do what you accuse others of doing to you. You seem, incorrectly to think your indisputable facts are indisputable while others are. Now that’s true conceit!
You’re also an expert on Tanzanian Unsolicited Proposals because of a World Bank Document and apparently I am wrong because I don’t understand. What was it you said? “Because I do understand it”
I wouldn’t normally qualify what I say, but when I invested all those years ago I never considered I might need (or even want) to know about solicited or unsolicited proposals, but if it ever became apparent that I did (which I don’t) I’m sure I will know somebody that does!
Whilst debating the somewhat ambiguous meaning of the “Invited unsolicited proposal” you appear again as an authority, and only you understand what unsolicited proposal means, a bit like the subtle meaning you think you found in the RNS. Why would Edenville hide subtle meanings within the most positive of RNS’s?. …
It’s a shame you don’t know as much about Edenville and their intentions as documented as you do about proving only your posts are indisputable. I’m not sure what it is you are trying to prove? You clearly don’t understand that Googling doesn’t make you an expert, and others ‘relevant’ research is their opinion, and nothing posted by anybody here is indisputable.
For somebody that is a purported investor you have a very strange way of showing it on this board by attempting to trash the RNS by saying about the reiterated paragraph. “The paragraph in the RNS means nothing as yet - its talk” So it seems you are also an expert on reading RNS’s from between the lines!?. …
Unlike you I don’t, and have never professed to be anything other than an investor, and you wont find any posts of mine suggesting I indisputably know more, or am better than anybody else. I do however have 10 years of accumulated Edenville knowledge (as do many others) because I have been party to the whole process, stuff that you clearly missed on Google that was/is still on the first page of the website, and some pretty elementary stuff at that! Stuff I’d suggest a genuinely invested researched investor would be fully aware of.
Google is indisputably no substitute for accumulated personal knowledge!
Clearly his arrogance and conceit knows no bounds!
Nothing but positives in the 24th June RNS imo
“The below is copied & pasted for those that get confused with Paragraphing”
Alistair Muir, CEO of Edenville, commented:
"It is pleasing to see business beginning to return to normal in Tanzania and we look forward to realising the full potential of Rukwa.
“Consistent with the positive sentiment in the region the Company is working on a number of other supply opportunities in the East African region, for which further expansion of production capacity at Rukwa may be required”
“The Company has recommenced discussions with the Tanzanian Government and recently been invited to submit an unsolicited proposal for the supply of coal to an on-site power station owned and operated by the Tanzanian Government. The Tanzanian Government power planning programme shows the need for a base load plant by 2026”
In fact a can’t find a single negative anywhere in this RNS !

Let’s keep this board positive !!
esquimo
It is, and if it hadn’t been for covid-19 we’d probably be further forward. Better placed, and with more options than ever before it would seem. Hopefully we will get an update prior to the AGM !!
How truly conceited you are !!
esquimo
Exactly! A solicited proposal is when somebody asks for a proposal. An unsolicited proposal is when you send somebody a proposal they haven’t even asked for.
As I posted earlier the inclusion of the word “Invited” in the RNS changed the definition, but unsolicited proposals can also be refer to (as my 13th July 13:29) as outside of any formal approach.
You can’t have it both ways it’s either unsolicited or invited which means it’s solicited. … Think I’ve just lost the will to live! lol
The single word “invited” changes the definition of unsolicited proposal as it is a “requested proposal” requested of Edenville by the Tanzanian Government.
Edenville haven’t Brokered anything, the RNS clearly says: The Company has recommenced discussions with the Tanzanian Government and recently been invited to submit an unsolicited proposal for the supply of coal to an on-site power station owned and operated by the Tanzanian Government. “Invited”
Have a good weekend all !!
e.g. Lets invite Edneville Energy, who have a coalfield with 173mt of proven coal (at the termination point of the $455m transmission interconnector) to make a proposal to supply coal to an on-site Government owned and operated power station SOMEWHERE ELSE in Tanzania. …
Surely to anybody with half a brain cell ‘on site’ would suggest on-site. Not at Kibo’s site, but at Edenville’s site! or am I missing something??
Just for balance after reading the said RNS I would be really interested to know how others see/understand the reference to “on-site”with regards to Edenville’s “Invite” from the Tanzanian Government ??
Really beggars belief pmsl !!!
and a frown
I’m sure he mentioned working for Billy Smart
Here’s a relevant fact.
The Tanzanian Government see the need to Build Own and Operate a NEW Coal Fired Power Station on-site, and Edenville have RECENTLY been invited to submit an unsolicited proposal for the SUPPLY of COAL for that on-site Power Station.
Beware of desperate bitter failed investors ;))
Actually it’s more like 5 or 6 years!
Earlier today there were 5 Price Monitoring Extensions triggered by just 5 low value trades. It might be nothing, but the mm’s set the price/algorithm which is in essence a safeguard, supposedly to protect investors ;))
We live in hope !!
0.80 are already c. -43.75%
Me I’m down 74.14% and 4 odd years and with a very much higher average. …
large investors (who are all probably based in the uk) appear to operate on Africa time. It’s as if nobody within the company is interested in moving forward.
