Q3 results Thusday 12th

It's a gamble to buy anything at the moment.

Those of us who followed Ashtead for years will just have to keep it going. At the moment it is doing well on the Dow unlike united rentals its main competitor which is down over 2% over 5 days . They are in the process of taking over H&E construction.

I first bought AHT for 43p!

Last September Apollo Global Management were sad to be considering a bid for the company and MNG Have been motoring since then

AHT exits the London stock exchange 2/3/26. It will then trade under the ticker SUNB

The only reason I invested here was because they started to pay dividends so presumed they were on the mend. Paid 117p 🙄

URI are already more than 11% down today😮

I bought a few shares here many years ago @ 345p .They were then called Reed International. I happily watched the share price rise to £40. I thought their involvement in AI would be good, but seemingly not . The price is plummeting despite the recommendations of analysts. What is happening?

URI are up 32% YTD, AHD are up.6% yet nearly all their business is in the U.S. The sooner they list there the better.

With Amazon being the go to place for online shoppers a sale of Argos would free up funds to expand the Tu clothing brand in shops. Shoppers tend to browse there while doing their food shop.
