hopefully that link works and should direct you to the potion of the page that goes over the method used
@17.00 I had a look on simplywall.st today and it had the following info:
Fair market value for AO at around 131p - 92% overvalued based on price at 252
Boohoo valued at 384 - 16.6% undervalued based on price at 320
ASOS at 5876p -11.8 % under valued ( even more after today's drop) based on price of 5184p
Ocado valued at 789p -148.8% overvalued based on price of 1962
I've had this on my watchlist since the end of Jan and can't understand why it has dropped.
I read a lot on here about missing the covid train/ being late etc. Could it be that a lot of investors here measure all COVID related stocks by comparing to companies like ODX/ GDR/ AVCT ?
If so, then I don't think that would be a fair comparison. I myself fell into this but on reflection, developing testing kits is a lot easier than developing treatments. So all those other companies releasing RNSs about distribution/sales etc isn't in anyway a negative against a company that is developing treatments that take way longer to bring to the market.
Aside from vaccines/treatments by big pharma I've not heard about any other smaller companies being in the advanced stages of development relative to Syn (I could be very wrong here as I'm still in the early stages of my research and will be happy to be corrected).
Hi All
As a person new to investing in companies based abroad, how do we deal with the withholding tax on divi. I've read that we have a double tax treaty with Nigeria and can claim some of it back. Would this be claimed on our tax return or would I need to do this another way?
Specific to the latest RNS:
It mentions that the default currency option is dollars for LSE holders I assume everyone here has chosen the option to take it in GBP.
Also:
"On or around 6th June 2021, the interim dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at 12th May 2021, and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their interim dividend directly into their Bank accounts. "
Does this mean that only those who have completed the e-dividend form will receive it or is it just listing two scenarios of getting paid, i.e Shareholders in their broker accounts and shareholders who opt for divi to go direct to bank account.?
Thanks
