My experience of these corporate finance deals is everyone gets pad at the end when the money has been raised.

My experience of this company is that more recently very few people got paid....

This seems like a shot in the foot for the lawyers. They will have spent more money in legal fees winding this company up and I very much they will see a single penny of it come back to them.

Michelmores were the lawyers who advised on the April 2025 circular and fundraising round. I wonder if this winding up order relates to unpaid fees in connection with that. I imagine they were quite chunky fees.

I've lost access to the Discord chat somehow. Are there any important developments at all please?

these journos are normally pretty good at exposing unusual circumstances on aim, although i don't think they've said anything about this stock.

The Takeover Panel would be interested in that if there had been a group of investors together owning >50% plotting to acquire shares and take the company private.

They have acted before where they have found a concert party coming together to take control of a company. They made the concert party buy everyone else out at the highest price they'd paid, as if they had been forced to do a mandatory takeover bid.

Although that page also says that the annual validation is not due until February 2026, so maybe this is a voluntary dissolution or some other issue.

This company now appears to be listed for strike off in Guernsey. "Status Strike Off Listed Effective Date 09/12/2025"

I guess that's because the director(s) are unable to confirm that they have prepared / sent their annual accounts out.

Woodbois is a Guernsey company. It has no obligation to file or publish accounts.

I doubt shareholders will ever see the accounts from the last financial year.

This has cost me £000s and I'm livid.
