This has happened with every miner I own. Cracking results followed by a steep fall rather than a rise. Almost like everyone front runs the results then sells on the day. Completely nuts. I bought the drop, let's see.

Pretty clear from the trading behaviour that the sell off in CM was macro based (sell everything) and nothing more. Now that the herd mindset is 'risk on' again Cornish is being bought up this morning. Remember - markets being moronic is a good thing, if they were sensible we'd never make any money.

I didn't see any reason for the price to rocket from 80p to 140p on no news, someone was buying it up. I sold some out in tranches on the way up. Then the news came out (known by the buyer?) about the LOI from the US and the price briefly hit 150. The update also confirmed successful installation and operation of the mid level pumps and other ongoing parallel works. Now on no news it goes all the way back down again. I am buying back all of my sells here. This remains a good risk/reward investment in my opinion and we have seen how quickly it can go up. Not investment advice, DYOR.

Why is this stock trading like a dog? I bought at 3.9 and it went up to 4.8 but has crashed down to 3.8 again. Why? Tin is high, as far as I can tell the prospects are good and varied - so who is selling the crap out of Andrada?

I switched out of a lot of my mexican exposure today, in favour of silver miners in safer jurisdictions. US, Argentina, Morocco etc. Still hold some Fresnillo but may switch to Hochschild. When a country is blowing up, silver may moon but I wouldn't want to hold a miner who has to close for extended periods.

Being sought after is a nice problem to have. UK industry clearly gets tin for for its needs as it is. I really don't see CM selling output to the US being a problem. If the UK govt is worried about it, well finance the rest of CM's needs then! 🤷🏼

Prior to the new year these sort of volumes were the norm. This year has seen a lot of buying interest coming in.

I see Andrada as a good alternative to Cornish, I have taken some profits on Cornish and reinvested in Andrada who have similar potential in my view but has yet to pop in price. Still holding main position in Cornish though, I don't see it dropping much from here. I think a lot of new interest has come in and the stock at 80p was extemely undervalued given all the positives. Not investment advice. I am no expert, just my opinion. Let me know if yours differs.

The thng that is glaringly obviius to me is that the silver price is in lockstep with the gold price, just more volatile. At some point the structural deficit of the physical will lead to a decoupling from gold, when that happens is the unknown but I would eatimate it will be this year with the way vaults are draining.

I wondered if it was algos testing the bid offer real levels.

Blimey, just did some Grok expert analysis of Cornish Metals incorporating this rns and it comes out with a figure of over 300p on fundamentals.

It's actually quite scary, there is a lot of speculation that big banks have massive silver shorts and are in an existential crisis in this ramping price scenario. I don't know if I believed it but seeing this kind of desperation to smash the price every day does make me wonder. It's scary because it means the financial system might crash. Every day the price just comes back up.again, it is relentless because of the physical situation. Of course they may be doing it to pick up the miners cheap. I am holding on for 2026.

As expected, weak hands flushed and ratchet up resumes. With the state of the metals commodity complex you would have to be nuts to sell here. Tin is mooning and all mining stocks are set to be a bonanza for shareholders IMO DYOR.

My guess is this ratchets up again, buyer is not done

Looks to me like the buyer is trying to shake out the weak hands by lowering the bid/offer spread. Some fell for it.
