This has almost doubled in the last month, no news, no market speculation. I have top sliced a small number as can't understand the increase, but still have a substantial holding, surely there must be something happening in the background to support this increase?

I don't know how your shares are held, but your broker / investment company should contact you for your decision when the placing is formally offered. I hold mine in a SIPP with AJ Bell so will await their electronic message.

I believe that it is driven by the poor initial drilling results reported via RNS from GGP on Scallywag prospect.

RNS on scally disappointing hence drop in price and knock on impact here, feels oversold currently.

Has anyone received back their unused funds from the recent placing? Mine are held in a SIPP and are still showing as ringfenced and not released back into my cash value yet.

This is no surprise given the desperate position the business was in from a cash perspective having had to borrow £0.5m from a director to survive.
The shares vs cash for Mark makes sense as avoids having to pay back the £0.5m, lets hope that this fund raise is sufficient for the business to survive it these difficult times and ultimately grow.

Can't remember my buy in date, but it was driven by an article in the Daily Mail at least 8 years ago. Hoping that we surpass the last peak of 13p!!

My guess is either leaked news or a potential buyer taking some nibbles before a formal takeover offer, my money is on the later.

Hoping that my senses are good, as feeling that finally after a few years of false starts & disappointments 2021 will prove to be the breakthrough year for this company.

I think I will do the same Stokey as hold all mine in a SIPP and have maxed out on annual contribution, rather than sell anything to fund think I will just request an allocation up to my current available cash balance. Gut feel is that the "excess" element will be massively scaled back anyway

I think taking up the "Basic" placing is a no brainer, but any views on a strategy for the "excess" placing as if select max. it requires up tying up funds that may or not be successful in the placing?

Onwards and upwards with a UK based Board, hopefully this is the beginning of a positive journey it needs some positive energy back in the SP

Good to have some positive news to get this share moving, been in the doldrums for a long time.

Tracking RR as see them as a long term opportunity, don't hold any currently but given the impact of the dilution my view is if they hit the 60 - 65 range I will consider buying.

Interesting he has now been appointed as a NED, given that he owns c 12% of the business he definitely has skin in the game & is presumably confident in this being a successful business.

lets hope that the recent rise is being driven by some knowledge leaking out around some amajor announcements to be made next week during the call.

No idea either, perhaps there is a massive purchase in the background and they are aligning the price / spread as they try to place the deal
