Reading a news article earlier by The Drum, it mentions a deal could be very close and possible by end of the week. Not sure it would happen that soon but who knows.

As for derampers, just need to try and ignore. Fortunately my investing strategy does not subject me to many companies that have these derampers.

wow curlykev! Just read for first page of posts. You are very negative in your postings towards other investors and 90% of your posts are about reprimanding others. Have you ever thought of being positive or posting some news or research of the company you hold shares in? Just logging in to have a go at posters you disagree with does not contribute.

I'm not trying to talk the price down as I have no reason too. Maybe if the merger happens I will have the right to post? I do not know how they have come up with the possible offer and so made a suggestion about it. If people think it is such a bad offer you could always hedge your bet? Either way, it does not effect me.

Very leaky. They actually said they would release another rns before the end of the month. That could of very well said suspended. Anyway, doesn't matter as nomad named.

Personally I don't think there is a massive difference between the two companies.
The advantage tap has is that it has produced an increased profit yoy and pays a divi. For an investor it looks a safer bet and a stronger company but not massively.
Tap took a massive hit when the CEO was accused of bad form from a previous company and so left. The sp has steadily fallen since then.
I do think if the merger went ahead it would benefit share holders of both companies.

Having looked over both company figures imo Tap is the better company and has better value. The market cap for the company does not reflect the value and has been greatly oversold. I think the 16 for 19 is fair value in terms of comparing the two companies.
It will be a very good deal if it goes through for the shareholders and I wouldn’t be surprised to see £4 in 12 months.
Unfortunately the deal is not done yet and the news was obviously leaked out.

Tap is going to issue 16 shares for every 19 shares R1 own. That almosts doubles Tap’s shares.

I think the update is very positive.
Revenues and loss about where people expected.
£40k loss is showing that star has improved and almost certainly will move into profit this year.
Everything is moving along with regards to the nomad.

Negatives: No surprise it is 9% down as I type.
Where there has been no surprises, the nomad still unsigned means if not signed in next 2 days the shares will be suspended which means no trading! Yes, they have told us the nomad is close to signing, but until it does there is always that possibility it will not.
Regarding the bod with deferred salaries, this is good, but it does show how precarious the company is financially.

Could be a rocky few days for the share price and investors, but unless you are trading, this was never going to be a quick buck, but a longer term investment. What the sp does in between you buying and selling is insignificant except for offering lower prices to buy.

Time to break out of the downward trend hopefully. Touching the top of the downward trend line.

Well the lack of a nomad has helped in bringing the so down. If no nomad by 31st January the shares will be suspended for a month. No nomad in that time and au revoir. I’d suggest that all those of a nervious disposition sell up before 31st. You can buy back if the company gets a nomad. In the mean time, I have some funds waiting to buy some so, please, please sell.

Well early days on my Tap call but looks like a good call. That’s 8 or 9 I’ve called bottom on in last 2 months or so. On a run!

Still struggling to break this, but eventually with all the progress being made, it will break the 20p resistance and shoot up to the next level of 25p. Lets hope we get a steady increase through the day.
