Like many I guess, there is still a way to go for me to get back to break-even, but it was a good start yesterday and it appears to be continuing today which I am pleasantly surprised to see as I had expected a sharp pull-back TBH. (although my chickens will remain uncounted for now).

Regardless of what happens short term to the SP the order announced yesterday has renewed my confidence, particularly of progress in India.

And only a week ago someone suggested we should pull out of India entirely. I am so pleased those decisions are under the control of the BoD with the relevant information.

It's also nice to not be a wet-blanket character.

If I remember, we paid something like 200k to get connected to the grid because the diesel generator was too costly to run, so presumably we will still be using the grid as well?

IIRC it was just the mobile crusher combined with low APT price which made the previous tailings processing unfeasible. Now we have 4 proper crushers and a much higher price, so it should all be good this time. And as has been mentioned, good training and testing of equipment. Get the teething problems sorted before the production in earnest! This is all going better than I'd dare hope.

I have not been following Cyan for 16 years, so I do not know whether they have capitalsed any expenditure in the past. I cannot remember it happening in the last 5 or 6 years, so I am not certain, but if I had to make a guess I would say probably not. Do you have a definitive answer ?

To expand on your post, if the decision to allow it or not is being taken by Deloitte as you stated yesterday, then I am personally very doubtful that technical feasibility will come into it as I don't see accountants having the expertise to make that judgement. Perhaps they would be better placed to judge commercial feasibility if they have an industry expert, but they may rely on numbers - i.e. orders on the books.

Given you quite correctly point out the condition(s) which would have to be met to capitalise expenditurei, would you see it as a positive it CC were able to do this ?

Guys, it was a very genuine question to see if you had a different take on capitalisation to me. It's a shame you took it as something else as I was interested in your view on it.

Ignoring your implication that I'm a ramper (if you knew me you would find that as hilarious as I do) what is your take on the possibility of capitalisation of expenditure. I don't see it as anything bad, whereas you do seem to, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

Same question to Colour since he was the first one to mention it with overtones that it was something to be concermed about.
