Contract Wins26 Jun 2026 11:16
Although the outcome of the Cap & Floor contracts is disappointing, I believe there is a considerable advantage. Government contracts tend to be long & drawn out. The process to date has been very slow considering the strain that is already being placed on the National Grid. The income from the contracts would mainly arise in 2029.
Given that the company is only delivering one contract, it means it will not be a major distraction. It will enable the company to prioritise its efforts in obtaining contracts around the world in shorter time frames with an earlier completion date.
The company has won several large contracts recently and as it will no longer be distracted by the cap & floor process it can concentrate on the other areas of its business.
