LONDON (Alliance News) - Gold trading and exploration company Wishbone Gold PLC said on Friday that its processing plant in Honduras is now operational.
The plant is under a small-scale licence and is running batch processing and producing gold while testing or samples. Additional licences have been applied for, and Wishbone expects final permitting for large amounts of gold ore in May, which is expected to significantly boost production.
During the first quarter of 2018, Wishbone has moved to expand its ore supply following adverse weather conditions affecting operations in Honduras in 2017.
Shares in Wishbone Gold were up 3.8% at 0.42 pence on Friday.
