W Resources Says Tungsten Shipments Start From La Parrilla Mine

LONDON (Alliance News) - W Resources PLC on Wednesday said it has started tungsten shipments from its La Parrilla mine in Spain.

Tin separation from tungsten at the project has started at the La Parrilla plant, allowing production and sales of tungsten and tin in coming months.

"We are very pleased to confirm the first shipment of tungsten concentrate from La Parrilla to our new customers in the United States. It is an important milestone for W Resources," said Michael Masterman, chairman of W Resources.

Shares in W Resources were up 2.2% to 0.613 pence on Wednesday.
