(Alliance News) - W Resources PLC on Thursday said it has started commissioning of the La Parrilla concentrator plant following completion of concentrator construction.
The mining company said the detailed installation of the motor control centre, including all electrical connections, and associated plant work were completed at the La Parrilla project located in Spain.
Commissioning of the spirals and shaking tables buildings has commenced, W Resources noted. Ore will be introduced into the circuit with first concentrate production from the new concentrator plant planned in September.
"It is important to note that commissioning ensures a streamlined start-up of the ramp-up of tungsten and tin production," said Chair Michael Masterman.
W Resources shares were trading 6.6% higher on Thursday in London at 0.42 pence each.
