Volvere's Kalms steps down

Turnaround investment specialist Volvere has announced Richard Kalms will leave the company at the end of the month for personal reasons.Business development director Kalms set up the business in 2002 and appointed his father and founder of electrical retailer Dixons, Sir Stanley Kalms, as non-executive chairman."I wish to thank him on behalf of the board, our employees and shareholders for his contribution to the company during this period and offer him our best wishes for the future," said chief executive Jonathan Lander.The firm, run by brothers Jonathan (CEO) and Nicholas Lander (COO and CFO), still boasts Neil Ashley, who started support services firm Amey, and David Buchler, vice-chairman of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club until 2006, as directors.
