Vodafone Reminds Kabel Shareholders Of Acceptance Period

Mon, 09th Sep 2013 07:07

NEWBURY (Alliance News) - Vodafone (VOD.L, VOD) reminded shareholders in Kabel Deutschland Holding AG (KBDHF.PK) that the acceptance period of the voluntary public takeover offer for Kabel will end on September 11. Vodafone noted that the offer will lapse if the 75% minimum acceptance condition is not met by the specified date.

Vodafone also announced that Germany's Federal Cartel Office, or FCO, confirmed to company that it would not request the European Commission to refer the offer to the FCO for its approval, and the deadline for making such request expired on September 6, 2013. The European Commission is expected to complete its Phase I review of the offer by September 20, 2013.

Vodafone confirmed that all terms and conditions of the offer remain unchanged and will not be amended.
