HOUSTON, Nov 8 (Reuters) - BP Plc is on schedule tocomplete the overhaul of a 90,000 barrel per day (bpd) crudedistillation unit at its 413,500 bpd Whiting, Indiana, refinerywithin the next two weeks, sources familiar with plantoperations said on Tuesday.
BP began a multi-unit overhaul at the Whiting refinery onSept. 20 with the shutdown of a 240,000 bpd CDU. A 110,000 bpdgasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit was shutlater. Both the large crude unit and the cat cracker haverestarted, the sources said.
Work on the 90,000 bpd CDU was scheduled to finish in themiddle third of November, according to the sources. (Reporting by Erwin Seba, editing by G Crosse and DavidGregorio)
