UK DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Science Group Chair Sells 4.8% Stake

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Science Group PLC - Cambridge-based scientific consultancy group - Chair Martyn Ratcliffe sells 2.0 million shares, a 4.8% stake, at 240 pence, worth GBP4.8 million, on Wednesday. Retains 27.3% stake and undertakes to not sell any more shares for the next 12 months. Company says disposal by Ratcliffe, the company's largest shareholder, is to broaden the shareholder base and create more liquidity in the shares. Separately, Managing Director Dan Edwards exercises options for 75,000 shares and then sells 40,000, also at 240p. Finance Director Rebecca Archer sells 40,000 shares at the same price after having exercised options for 25,000 shares.

Nichols PLC - Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside-based maker of Vimto and other soft drinks - Non-Executive Director James Nichols pledges 560,000 shares, worth GBP7.2 million at current prices, against a personal bank loan. James Nichols is commercial controller of Vimto Out of Home Ltd. He was appointed as a non-executive director of Nichols in July, as a representative of the Nichols family. His father John Nichols is non-executive chair.

Babcock International Group PLC - London-based aerospace and defence - Chief Financial Officer Designate David Mellors buys 41,268 shares at GBP2.42, worth GBP99,992, on Wednesday. The former CFO of Cobham PLC joins Babcock on November 1 and takes over as CFO on November 30.

Legal & General Group PLC - London-based provider of investment management, life assurance and pension services - Non-Executive Director Philip Broadley buys 41,575 shares at GBP1.80, worth GBP74,644, on Friday last week.

Amedeo Air Four Plus Ltd - investment company that buys, leases and sells aircraft - Director David Gelber sells 110,839 shares at GBP0.46, while spouse Vivienne Gelber sells 11,315 at the same price, both on Monday and together worth GBP56,191. David Gelber now has 221,679 shares and Vivienne Gelber 22,630. Director Robin Hallam and spouse Amanda Hallam sell total of 30,000 shares at same price, also on Monday.

Cineworld Group PLC - Brentford, west London-based movie house chain - Non-Executive Director Damian Sanders buys 57,942 shares at GBP0.43, worth GBP25,000, on Tuesday.
