Rio Tinto PLC - London-based miner - Copper & Diamonds Chief Executive Arnaud Soirat sells 13,500 shares at AUD115.21, worth AUD1.6 million, about GBP878,300, on Tuesday. Non-Executive Director Hinda Gharbi buys 1,400 shares at USD76.64, worth USD107,295, on Wednesday.

GlaxoSmithKline PLC - Brentford, Middlesex-based pharmaceutical maker - Senior Independent Non-Executive Director Vindi Banga buys 36,600 shares at GBP13.76, worth GBP503,448, on Wednesday.

ADVFN PLC - Ongar, England-based investor information website operator - Reduces the exercise price of 1.2 million options held by company directors, including Chair Michael Hodges and CEO Clem Chambers. Exercise prices are reduced to 14p from prices ranging from 76.4p to 118.75p. The options had been granted in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2014, and their exercise prices were substantially higher than the current market price. This stood at 14.80p on Wednesday afternoon, up 29% on the day. ADVFN says Independent Non-Executive Director Tom Spiller reviewed and approved the reset of the exercise prices.
