LONDON (Alliance News) - Trading Emissions PLC Monday said it has entered into a sale and purchase agreement to transfer its existing Certified Emissions Reduction stock and portfolio of Emission Reduction Purchase Agreements.
The closed-ended investment company, which operates in environmental markets, said the transfer was for free and didn't name the counter party to the agreement.
It said the long stop date for transferring the Emission Reduction Purchase Agreements, from the signing of the sale and purchase agreement, was 12 months. It not transferred before that date, the emission agreements will be either terminated or otherwise disposed of.
Shares in Trading Emissions were quoted at 15.50 pence per share Monday morning, up 1.6%.
