TP Group Receives Interest In Possible Sale Of TPG Maritime Business

Wed, 13th Jan 2021 11:09

(Alliance News) - TP Group PLC on Wednesday said it has received expressions of interest for the potential sale of its maritime engineering business TPG Maritime Ltd in Portsmouth, England.

The Reading, England-based consulting, software and engineering services provider said that in light of the interest, it has appointed advisers to review the opportunities and consider the best strategic options for the business.

Shares in TP Group were up 4.1% at 6.35 pence in London on Wednesday.

TP Group said that there can be no certainty at this stage that a formal agreement will be reached, nor any agreement terms, and any disposal would be "in-line with the company's strategy to focus on delivering consulting, digital solutions, advanced-technology, and bespoke engineering to critical programmes in the global defence, space and energy sectors."
