(Alliance News) - TI Fluid Systems PLC said Tuesday it has appointed Tim Cobbold as a senior independent director.

The automotive fluid storage and delivery systems manufacturer said Cobbold has over 30 years of experience in a variety of sectors with more than 10 years as chief executive of FTSE-listed organisations, including De La Rue PLC, Chloride Group and UBM.

Cobbold served as a non-executive director of electric power generation company Drax Group PLC until September, and has been a non-executive director at Rotork PLC since 2018.

TI Fluid Systems said Cobbold joined the board on Monday.

Manfred Wennemer, chairman of TI Fluid, said: "We are delighted to welcome Tim as our new senior independent director. His extensive operational and strategic expertise will further strengthen our board."

TI Fluid shares were up 4.1% in London at 202.00 pence each on Tuesday.
