(Alliance News) - Investment company Tekcapital PLC on Monday announced that Louis Castro will be joining the board with immediate effect.
Tekcapital has also announced that Bill Payne will step down as a non-executive director from the start of January.
Castro has previously served as the chief financial officer at Eland Oil & Gas PLC. He is currently a director of Green Park Petroleum Ltd, a non-executive director of stamp firm Stanley Gibbons Group PLC, and non-executive director of oil and gas exploration company Ascent Resources PLC.
Tekcapital Executive Chair Clifford Gross said: "We are very pleased to have Castro join our board and we believe that his extensive business and investment banking experience will further enhance the board's skills and growth prospects for the company."
Shares in Tekcapital closed down 0.9% at 5.32 pence on Monday in London.
