(Sharecast News) - Synergia Energy said Wednesday that workover and drilling preparations were progressing at its Cambay production sharing contract (PSC) onshore in India, where it holds a 50% working interest.
The AIM-traded company said partner Antelopus Selan Energy, formerly Selan Exploration Technology, was nearing completion of rig-up operations for the Aakash XIV 50-tonne workover rig at the Cambay C-64 wellsite.
Installation of a sucker rod pump in the C-64 well was expected to begin shortly.
Meanwhile, mobilisation of the Kiri drilling rig to the C-54 wellsite area was around 50% complete.
The rig was being moved to the new C-78 drilling pad near the C-54 location, with Synergia set to update the market once drilling starts.
At 1417 GMT, Synergia Energy shares were down 1.03% at 0.02p.
