(Alliance News) - Supermarket Income REIT PLC on Monday confirmed that in partnership with "large institutional investor" it is in discussions to acquire a minority stake in a portfolio of 26 supermarkets let to J Sainsbury PLC.
The supermarket-focused real estate investor said there can be no certainty that the acquisition will be agreed.
The company did not give any terms for the potential transaction.
Supermarket Income REIT shares closed 0.4% lower in London at 107.12 pence each on Monday.
