OSLO, May 14 (Reuters) - Norwegian oil and gas firm Statoil has acquired a 30 percent equity share in fourexploration licenses offshore Australia from BP, thecompany said on Tuesday.
The four licenses are located in the frontier Ceduna SubBasin within the Great Australian Bight, covering an area ofmore than 24,000 square kilometres.
It did not disclosed the value of the deal.
