(Alliance News) - Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust PLC on Wednesday confirmed the departure date of Chair Allister Langlands, who will step down at the end of March 2020.
In addition, the investment firm said Liz Airey will succeed Allister as chair on that date.
Airey was appointed as an independent non-executive director of the company in August.
Standard Life UK said Airey will retire as non-executive chair of Jupiter Fund Management PLC on March 2 next year, but will remain a non-executive director of Kirk Lovegrove & Co Ltd and chair of the trustees of the Rolls-Royce UK Pension Fund.
Standard Life UK shares were trading 0.8% lower in London on Wednesday afternoon at 519.68 pence each.
