SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Made.com sale talks progress; new Avon CEO

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Monday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Made.com Group PLC, up 24% at 8.79 pence, 12-month range 2.30p-165.00p. The sofa seller has received a "number of non-binding indicative proposals" during its formal sale process. It has invited a number of possible bidders to progress towards firm offers by the end of this month, after due diligence.

Avon Protection PLC, up 2.4% at 1,048.00 pence, 12-month range 732.00p-2,098.00p. The protection equipment maker has named Jos Sclater as its chief executive, with effect January 16. Sclater has spent three years as chief financial officer of now former London listing Ultra Electronics PLC. Avon has been without a chief executive since September, when Paul McDonald stepped down from the role. His departure was announced in May.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

Zotefoams PLC, down 3.0% at 290.00p, 12-month range 233.00p-448.00p. The stock returns gains after rising 28% in the final two days of last week. The industrial plastics maker on Thursday said revenue in the third quarter of 2022 climbed 27%.
