Halfords proposes final dividend of 5.00p having paid nothing for financial 2020. Halfords positive on outlook for financial 2022 and plans full-year dividend of 9.00p. Profit before tax has soared more than 72% in the past year, allowing it to reintroduce its dividend, which will please shareholders. But it also means the bar has been set high for future results."
