SeaEnergy wins ship management contract

SeaEnergy's recently established subsidiary SeaEnergy Ship Management has won a ship management contract for its first vessel from SEASM.The offshore services specialist will receive a subsea support vessel, MV Surf Ranger, formerly the MV Seisranger, which was recently acquired by Otto Marine's subsidiary Surf Ranger and has arrived in the UK sector of the North Sea.The SEASM team is responsible for the management of the vessel's crew, provisions and technical support. SEASM and Otto are also in discussions over the ship management of other Otto vessels, which may be operating in the North Sea and Europe in the future. Chief Executive John Aldersey-Williams said: "We are delighted to have been awarded our first ship management contract. "The SEASM team, led by Rennie Cameron have a wealth of experience in this sector providing professional, cost effective and efficient management skills that ensure the safe and efficient running of vessels, specialising in dynamically positioned vessels". As of 12:01 the share price had risen by 8.01% to 36p.WS
